  3. i just picked up a toshiba 15.6 laptop with the amd chip, 500gb drive and 6gb of ram from futureshop. came in at a buck under 490 taxes in. havent had enough time to comment on durability obviously but so far its a hell of a machine for the money. ryan
  4. if you're going with electric brakes remember to factor a controller into the cost if your tow vehicle doesnt have one installed
  5. take a good look around for a busted vac line too
  6. for what its worth you dont have to get your regular services/maintenance done at a dealership to maintain your warranty. you just have to have proof that they have been done, receipts from whichever shop you choose is normally good enough. a lot of people aren't aware of this and spend much more money on maintenance at the dealer. ryan

  8. putting grease on the drillbit helps with trapping the shavings as well
  9. it wont affect performance OR fail an e-test (unless the gas cap is at fault) i see a lot of chryslers evap lines rotting away and causing leak codes. may be worth asking him to put a smoke machine into the system.
  10. scanning a code and diagnosing a check engine light are two different things entirely. buy a scantool that will give you streaming live data, even if its just the basic engine functions. live data goes a LONG way to fixing the problem quicker.
  11. if the blackflies are still out like they were last weekend anyone going is gonna want the baddest bugspray you can find!
  12. if the water levels are anything like they were last yr, bring an extra prop.
  13. what engine is in it? the 3.1 and 3.4 v6 have different length pushrods for the intake and exhaust valves, maybe one got switched around?
  14. you can try canada autoglass in burlington, its where we send all our glass work.
  15. tirerack.com has all kinds of ratings and reviews on just about any tire, that'd be the first place i looked ryan
  16. if you're buying used tires make sure that they arent old and cracked. the last four digits of the DOT number stamped in the side of them is the week/year of manufacture. buying some "almost new" tires for half the price doesnt save you money if they're all cracked and dry rotted in 6 months and you have to do it all over again. 5yrs is right around when they say tires should be replaced.
  17. we're also planning a trip out there dragging the camper for our honeymoon in july. cant wait.
  18. bubbles, go in and ask for a refund for the difference. ive done it in the past with no problems
  19. you could try giving steve at fishmasters bait a call, see what he has to say.
  20. looks like the lebaron's no tax sale has been extended. it was advertised as ending on the 20th, but the website now says it ends on the 26th. just a heads up for anyone who wanted to get out for it but couldnt get there in time.
