  4. thanks for the replies guys we went this morning to renew licenses, when she pulled out her temporary license, you couldnt read most of the info on it, including the card number. it looks like a call to the service ontario people tomorrow to see what we have to do to get a new card sent out. it'll suck if we have to pay for another card after not receiving the one she paid for last year. we ended up grabbing a one day resident license for her and headed off to find some ice. we got to st williams and saw nobody out and dont know the area...didnt want to risk anything. drove around to the old cut and same deal...turned around and went home next weekend we'll be out, hopefully we can get some answers by then ryan
  5. a buddy of mine at work swears by the meal plan disney offers, says its part of the reason he goes as often as he does.
  6. hey everyone last year when jenn bought her fishing license he outdoors card had expired and she had to get a new one. she was given a paper temporary copy but hasnt received her outdoors card yet. we are planning on renewing licenses tomorrow and hopefully find some safe ice somewhere. is she going to have to pay for another outdoors card when she buys her license for this year? how does this work now? ryan
  7. nevermind juicy rebounds...watch out for that high glove side
  8. good heads up. i was looking to get one of those, but saw the size and went with the 60" instead. more room than i need now, but hey...bigger is better right? FWIW lebaron's regular price on the 45 is around 27 bucks, the 60 costed 49 iirc ryan
  9. arent there tagged perch for a tournament starting next fall? tagged fish before then gets you into the tournament with no entry fee?
  10. I really miss having my grandmother with us around the holidays. the amount of casseroles, hams and baked goods.....enough to sink a ship! the gingerbread cookies and prune tarts were my favourites! Hyyvaa Joulua and Onnellista Uutta Vuotta, ryan
  11. Dara, may i suggest reading the definition of entrapment. Entrapment: In criminal law, entrapment is constituted by a law enforcement agent inducing a person to commit an offense that the person would otherwise have been unlikely to commit if you're out in the woods, with a rifle shooting and are WILLING to shoot at something that looks like a moose, it seems pretty damn likely that you intend to commit the crime.
  12. wow thats horrible "craftsmanship" the next phone call i made would be telling them to come pick their cabinets up from my front yard before the garbage man gets them. theres no excuse for work that poor.
  13. you get what you pay for. a good tradesman is worth far more than MOST people value them at.
  14. your nissan doesnt make enough power to turn those things!
  15. theres a outdoors/surplus place in oakville on speers road just west of kerr street. worth giving them a shout anwyays, i think i saw some last time i was in there. i believe its called oakville outdoors and surplus. not too far from hamilton either. ryan
  16. its on sportsnet ontario as well if you wanna watch it in high def
  17. probably dont need to say it (i hope) but make sure the machine is disabled from starting and what not. being able to plow snow, but not fish would really suck
  18. at least now machida has come out on both sides of a really poor decision.
  19. it couldve been shot quite a distance from where it was found, also it couldve been shot with a bow or crossbow...both of which i believe would be legal. a deer can take quite a while to die from a gutshot like that.
  20. he almost sounded like he was contemplating retirement by the way his post-fight interview went. cant wait for the jackson/machida rematch... jackson said it himself, he got whupped
  21. the fans there are more pumped up than the "fans" at acc for sure. the "fans" at the acc cant cheer too loudly or they'll spill their champagne and caviar.
  22. im saying what the tire manufacturers are telling you (obviously they have SOME interest in the whole thing) i'll tell you though, ive seen tires with less than 25k on them look horribly and unsafely weather cracked. there are other reasons to replace a tire than tread depth. if you're buying a tire thats already 2 or 3 yrs old you're starting out behind. if you do lots of mileage it may not make a difference, but especially to somebody who doesn't do lots of driving it makes sense to get the "freshest" tires you can.
  23. if i was getting ANY tire at 50% off i'd be making sure its not old stock that somebody is trying to blowout. you can check when the tires were manufactured, its in the DOT number on the tire, believe the last 4 numbers are the date of manuf. eg; 0910 would be 9th week of 2010 ...edit manufacturers recommend replacing tires that are 5 yrs old, regardless of wear, the rubber dries, cracks and ages.
  24. the basspro ones are fantastic... i bought 3 pairs as well, went back and bought another half dozen. wear them in my workboots every day. got a pair on right now even. well worth it. ryan
