like roy said they are not new by any means !!! same as a dropshot rig,i have been using them for 30years,and some of the guys are saying the tangle,and do lots of damage to the fish as well...i will stick to my confidence baits,i do very well on mine...but i think they do have promise,for other species with some modification....

my brand new 50hp yamaha four stroke tiller does the same thing its hot exhaust and no issues my merc four stroke did the same thing....no worries run it ...

yes and alot of that is fine,if plan on keeping the fish,but its not good to try and land big fish,on light line all the time,like muskies,alot of time the fight will kill the fish anyways !!! so unless you plan it out it can do more harm than good !!!

There is a great resident population of walleyes in the bay !!!! Hay bay is a great spot as well as Mohawk bay !!!! Drift or troll along the weed flats or drift over them !!!!! Twister tails and a jig or worm harness even a #7 shad rap will do the trick !!!!!! If you are gonna use live bait bring lots small perch and the gobies will rob you alot !!!!!

i just came back from a week fishing up in the ottawa river,pembroke area and the sandflies were having fun eating us up there they are bad this year...i just used muskol and it worked pretty good,also vinegar sprayed on your legs and ankles works too !!!!

thats a good choice steve there is no such thing as too much good quality fishing gear !!! lol...

no you can use them from the body of water they came from,but do not transport them,it was more in response to another poster who said he will release them in the morning ??? ....
