I had to replace a few of mine over the years too !!! Mine were red caps on the end and when pulling the rod out with a 25lb king on and oops off the come and they sink !!! Lol .... So I marine siliconed them on and never happened again and what brian said bay distributors north bay where I had mine shipped from as well

That sucks Chris !!! Well you know me I am at about 15-20 different lakes all summer long show a pucture of the boat if you can and I will keep an eye out for it ..... I just noticed too that last week at one of 4 different lakes I fished that someone tried to break into my truck my door handle is broken and some D-bag must have tried to pry open my door at the boat launch as most of the lakes I fish are out of the way spots out vehicles are sitting ducks while we are out in the boat .... Prickks !! Hope it's found for sure Shawn

A few years ago for an example I seen a young girl out almost in the middle of the lake over a kilometer from shore on a Saturday in the summer mid afternoon on a dollar store blow up raft about 4 feet long and maybe 6 inches thick no life jacket and huge 30-40 ft cabin cruisers & wake board boats just flying by .....or the boats with no lights on it just goes on & on !!! On the bright side it's almost Labor Day and after that the gong show will be thinning out pretty good and the fishermen can have the lakes back and be in relative peace & quiet ....come on fall ....almost big bass & walleye time

That legend is waaaaaaaaay underpowered it's their famous "package price" deals that have been doing for years .... I own a Lund and a Yamaha so you know what my decision would be I have also owned several legend boats we won't even go there ....by the time you upgrade to the adequate size outboard it's gonna cost a lot more .... Think about that

I have used several if the products mentioned above on my boat as well and the mothers products are hard to beat 2 times a year I do mine with a small electric hand buffer and it last a long time and works great !!! Thumbs up for mothers .... But to just wash it I use turtle wax car wash cold water formula and it works great too

Typical Kawartha lakes citiot weekend gong show I'm glad it was not a lot worse .... Seen many near misses and have said for years a big one is gonna happen and I'm sure sturgeon lake will be it there is 42-46ft offshore racing boats on my lake with 500-1,000hp it's insane on the kawarthas but not surprising to us that live here

Lol .... My 2 cats snore big time !!!! I have even recorded it ... Too funny they also dream too as I have watched them move and let out little meows while totally passed out !!! Lol but ya dogs can snore pretty good as well my freinds sheppard will get snoring pretty loud .... Lol

Put on a worm harness with Colorado silver blades and red beads and a big fat dew worm !!!! Put on a 3/8oz sinker about 20 inches up from the harness and a quality swivel and troll around at 1.5-2mph !!!!! Pretty simple eh ....

in some lakes its only roamers,and open water like i said palagiec and in structureless lakes it can take a while to figure them out but they are there....its challenging just the way i like it,it makes you alot better fiisherman thats for sure....

The manager of my local TSC said that they will not ever be carrying fishing tackle again that's why they are blowing it out so they said anyways

Well let's hope it's not smoke & mirrors Steve said it above !!! Asong as everyone abides by it and we will see... But at least it's a step in the right direction !!! But is it a day late and a dollar short ? Time will tell I guess we need some info from fisheries biogists to now say what it will take to further help the recovery and how long

there is big bass in those lakes mentioned above as i have fished them for alot of years,and yes you have to work very hard for them,but they are there....and yes the forage base has alot to do with itas well as major water fluctuations......

There is much better fishing a few mins up the highway than head lake that's for sure !!!! And it's very very very busy !!!! The gong show is alive & well there !!!! If you do go fish it during the week!!

Yup go deeper and finesse them with dropshot or tube !!!! You will probly get less fish bit will be bigger & better !!!! I have been doing both the shallow game & deep game for smallies last week or 2 and there are atull some decent fish shallow for sure !!!! Inside weedleines can be awesome this time of year !!!
