salad spoons work awesome !!! i always have one rigged for buckets in the summer for sure !!!! i as well use a 4/0 hook owner hook,they work great those salad spoons and i think they have a better hookup ratio than my frogs doo,and you can burn them or fish them slow like you said...very versitile

the south end of the lake is very covered in the toxic algea balls of slime.....and its pretty gross looking head up the north end...as that slime robs the oxygen and fish scatter from it..... just some info for you

There really is no end to how funky you can make a harness !!! I used to get beads in micheals craft store too lots of different colors & even glow in the dark beads & blades I also used to paint blades & use nail polish with sparkles it goes on & on !!!! It's a great thing to know that everyone if my harnesses are a 1 of a kind !!!! I used to make hundreds & hundreds of them and sell them and that would always pay for me to re-stock plus make plenty enough for me to fish with them at no cost !!!!! Like I said before there is not much you cannot catch with them ....

yes they work great and i have had 1 break as well on a 2lb smallie....but i did get a few kawartha walleyes on it,if it was suspendidng it would be a wicked bait just my opinion tho...i am still trying them out

Yes aikmans is likely the place they repaired a few of my quantum reels & a few Abu reels in the past and they were old but found parts and still to this day they work awesome !!! Thumbs up for aikmans )

I will be looking at a few different models for sure now including the LG model as mentioned by a few like I said mostly for the basics & pictures & Facebook and weather apps and of course our site ofc !!! ) and some have said the newer phones are way bigger and don't fit in your pocket very well !!! I have an otter box on my iPhone and it does make it a fair bit bigger and bulkier do I will take it all into consideration when getting a new one very shortly !!!! Any more ideas keep them Comming. I mainly use it for all the basic stuff weather apps fishing apps taking lots of pics and checking emails and stuff like what worm dunker said !!! And yes wasn't sure about getting to know a new phone & system as the iPhone is pretty easy to figure put and I have had them for years now !! I think the biggest thing I need is a bit bigger screen and lots more memory and like I said mostly just basic stuff is what I use this phone for was just wondering like I said all the pros & cons of both before I get another one

A bigger screen would be nice as my eyes are not getting any better ... Lol and way more memory this iPhone 5 has 16 gigs and it's full !!!! Time for an upgrade going shopping very as on to to decide just wanted some opinions on the two models !!!! Thanks. Shawn

Here is an awesome tip: get some empty folgers coffee containers or similar brand even margarine containers fill them up with water freeze them solid before your trip !!! And put them in the bottom of your cooler !!! They will last for a few days and still be frozen solid !!!! They work awesome just make sure they are all the same size and lay fish on them and cover with a bag or 2 of ice and it's amazing how cold things will stay !!!! Been doing it for years and you can use them over & over !!!! I just went camping last week for 4 days and it was hot out and 2 of them were still half frozen when I came back home !!!!!! It's simple and soooooooo. Effective The bigger the cooler the more of the containers you can use Just a tip you will wonder why you never did it before !!!! Lol

Just curious why would you or need to weigh the boat ? Is it you are having towing issues ? What is the model & make we can probly give you a pretty accurate weight also the manufacturer would have the info on that as well as the motor ? Just wondering ??

Some of the new swim baits look amazing !!! As well as the new high gear reels !!! I have a 7.1 and it's great but wow !!! A 9 would be awesome for some applications for sure

Yesterday I was 2 for 2 on the live target frog !!! Both largies landed !!!! Some days ya get em some days ya don't !!!! And flukes were the ticket yesterday like garnet says !!!! Let them sink I between the pads or drag em over the top & let them sink !!!! I prefer to use flukes in open water or over the weeds but they will work like a frog and do have way better hook ups for me anyways !!!! Speaking of that I need more .....

I had 2 nice blow ups on my frog today and missed both fish !!!!! The first missed the frog by about 6-10 inches and the other I set it hard and had him for a second and the frog came back to the boat breaking the sound barrier !!!! Lol .... I love the frogs but hate them at the same time ..... Lol ....

The kings are in the Oshawa & bommanville areas now !!! Reports are things are heating up pretty good fishing wise anyways some guys are I to them big time

Some I make with 2 Colorado #3 or 4 blades a few beads in between and some just a number 5 Indiana blade with a few small beads and that's all don't usually ever use willow blades just Colorado & Indiana and for beads # 5& 6 also I use interchangeable clevis so I can change blades on the fly !!!! Have been making them for over 40yrs learned from my grandfather when I was a young boy !!!! They are the most versatile bait there is and will pretty much catch everything !!! And all my personal biggest muskies have all come from trolling harnesses weather on a bouncer or off a board or just flatline trolling even cast into current and reeled in can't beat them that's for sure !!!! Lol ....and it's easy to work one and easy & fairly cheap to make your own too !!! Even a few of my biggest bass & pike have all come from harnesses like I said earlier in a post I even caught a lake trout this spring opener in Haliburton trolling a harness for walleye a decent 4lb trout too !!!! Lol ....not many species of fish will turn down a nicely presented dew worm on a spinner !!!! Is a dead wringer folks !!!!!

It's true there isn't much you cannot catch with a worm harness !!! I have already caught a lake trout this spring while fishing for walleye in Haliburton on a harness !!!! Muskies especially love them as do pike ...
