  2. I'm going to lunch in two hours. Those boots are made for fishing.

  3. The warranty is toast! Lol. If I buy them (4) boots they think I want to get rid of them. Better that I get stuff from them, But my CT parka has seen better days. I'll tell him that in and hour! My green kamiks are great always used them on the ice with NO problem with cold feet.
  4. Same her guys, all the best for the coming year. Just getting in from dinner with friends and family.
  5. Go test them on Jarrow Cres. You'll find out if they are waterproof, mud proof and how they will be on ice.

  8. Pull up a chair, grab a cold one and catch it live here. I have to work Friday, we are having wine and cheese for lunch http://events.slooh.com/
  9. Many many years ago I worked all 'three' shifts. The hardest was the midnight . . . Got home at 8 and tried to go to sleep with no luck until the after noon, get up eat and fall back asleep and get up and do it again! The summer was the worst for me kids outside playing , nice warm weather etc. Also Saturday was bad, after getting home didn't want to go to sleep to do things and late afternoon, lights out, didn't impress the wife when we had to go out. For that shift unplug the phone.
  10. OOPs boss he was on CTV . . .

  13. [quote name='lew' date='09 December 2012 - 04:11 PM' timestamp='1355087511' A lady friend of ours had all seasons on and made it thru the snow with just a little trouble. It's good to be properly equipped for winter driving, but you also have to know how to drive. Lew, I owned a Jeep Grand C 4x4 for 15 years, used the 4 wheel about a half dozen times. Just drove with the conditions. No need to speed in winter.
  14. If you guys and gals go, the man is on duty, be wary of the pops you put away!
  15. Lots of bulldozers have gone missing in the GTA. A few years back they took one in daylight telling the people they were moving to another jog site. I had a bin stolen in front of my driveway, there was a dispute between two patners and during the night one of them decided to come and get it. maybe an inside job on the plane, just saying
  16. They are having a wild night in Yellowknife, Dave says it -45 with the wind chill! The more you wait the colder it gets, furnaces never go in the summer, I know. And A/C never go in the winter, I know that too!
  17. Cracked exchanger, It's gone, they usually last 20 years or so. Shop around. But saying that, at this time of year some one will always try to get you! A few years back I could have gotten a friend of mine a great deal if he could have waited a week, he couldn't and paid for it. (small child) . . . .
  18. How old is the furnace? If it's a cracked heat exchanger I agree. Yes get someone else to look at it. I've had to replace one only, I was red tagged, meaning he shut the gas off. Did he shut off you gas?
  19. The ladies dancing got really expensive, they had to buy a new pole!

  21. I have nice parcel in Aliston if they want to expand their potato operation. Just Potatoes.
