Here is the problem I can see with this new law. Driver A comes up to a pedestrian crosswalk that pedestrians are using. Driver A says 'I know the new law and am going to abide by it'. And stops and waits. Drivers B,C,and D behind driver A all have not heard of the new legislation or just plain don't care and have grown impatient having to wait all of 5 more seconds. They show their distain the best way they know how, by laying on their horns and shouting profanities. Driver A has little self confidence and doesn't like conflict, panics and goes through the crosswalk. The police pull driver A over and say 'Being intimidated by other drivers is not an excuse for breaking the law!'

I'm still jealous that you two got to do that, so that's saying something.

Fishing wise I give 2015 a B+. Would have liked to have gotten out more but that's always the case. Didn't get my splake or whitefish through the ice (goals) and not sure I caught a softwater Pike though I'm not sure I was targeting them. Did get a massive Laker, an American Eel, a Chinook (though a super small one) one nice big largemouth, a bunch of good size bass and saw my girlfriend catch her first Walleye. Pretty good year all in all. Still can't wait for 2016. Always new challenges to attempt and new goals to conquer.

Off christmas. I'm actually sad I'm not working NYE. Back when I used to bartend, working NYE was the best, people would get you drunk for free, you still got to talk to the pretty ladies (more so then if you wern't working) and my pockets would often be full after the night. Sure beats paying $100 for an evening.

There is a truck driving driving company I see from time to time called 'FLUKE' Nothing too exciting there. Except for their catch phrase which is also on their trucks. 'If it arrives on time, it's a FLUKE'. ........ Not sure they thought this one out.

It makes sense. It's 'no ice' ice season. For the casual fishermen on here, it's hard to get out with no ice and cold waters. Reports will be up as soon as we get some hard water.

Agreed with this. As someone who drove to Edmonton and back to move there, along the Superior coast in Ontario is magestic. Worth seeing for sure. Thunder Bay to Winnipeg is long but it has it's spots. From Winnipeg if you can take the Yellowhead highway to Esmonton, go for it. If you take highway 1 to Calgary, you will see the curvature of the earth for 18 hours and nothing else.

This is about the best setup you can ask for IMO. Agree with this 100%. If you go ice fishing, strap a toe warmer or two to the back of your life proof case so the cold doesn't eat your battery.
