I have two that didnt make it thru a season. One the bail blew apart, the other the bearings went in. I liked them while they worked, but have a bit of a bad taste in my mouth now. S.

Another vote for symetre....or any other shimano. I've had issues with pfleugers. I really liked them, but they just don't hold up like my shimanos. S.

I dont off the top of my head, but I work in an 11,000 acre managed forest, so I have contacts in the know.....pm me if you need a reputable forester or a good company to harvest. S.

Awesome trip Bunk!! I'll never forget catching those fish, but still want to giver another go. My next west coast trip will include halibut and ling cod at the top of the list, but those sturgeons are sooo cool!! You guys got some nice ones!! There is no reasonable excuse for the lack of enforcement. Its all about enforcement. With none, you get the gong shows. Make an example and things change right quick. Im glad the town stepped up! S.

Its funny, I live within 30 mins of about 10 of these spots, and have never tried it at night in the fall. I'm missing out apparently. If you ever want company, let me know! My son would enjoy this too I bet. Good stuff!! S.

Yeah, that's way too much. I have a tree guy we use at work all the time. Real good guy, and fair price. If you just want it on the ground, he can probably give you a good deal for cash. Fully insured, climbing gear, and boom truck. I'm not sure how busy he is, but he does a great job for us, and I"ve seen him drop some nasty trees that I wouldn't even consider, and I consider myself pretty good at felling trees.....its part of my job. If you can drop that one onto your neighbors property, it wouldn't be too bad by the looks of it, but its hard to tell from a photo. Kinda need to be there, standing right under it to see what your dealing with. S.

I haven't been in Cliffs house, but I'd say no, its not any noisier than shingles. The attic is still just as insulated as it always was. Now a barn roof, with no attic, or insulation, yes, much louder. Go steel all the way and never look back. S.
