  1. Cool! My GF Kills me in the musky game too. Its all good. I'd rather it was her than one of my buddies any day! S.
  2. Sorry for your loss, Mike. I lost mine last summer. He was the man who started the whole fishing/hunting thing with me too. S.
  3. Hmmm.....I thought this was just another political thread and didn't open it. I will have to follow this now. Interesting read. S.
  4. That's impressive for sure! Pretty cool! You'd think it would learn to not bite, eh? LOL S.
  5. Does that dog look like a yote to you?
  6. My barometer is telling me I should be fishing. S.
  7. Perfect duck weather!! S.
  8. Sheesh....a bit of rain and you'd think it was the end of the world according to the weather network. These guys drive me crazy. I bet we don't get near what they forcast..... S.
  9. Well, ya's made me laugh too. Life is such an adventure. So many ups and downs. We always manage to make the best of what we're dealt. Keep yourchin up and tell jack he rocks! S.
  10. Ive never tried the fly rod for them, but have caught lots trolling wooly buggers and leech patterns behind a small gang troll. I find the same depths.....spring/fall shallower, summer over deep water, winter really shallow....soft bottoms. Also get them on worm harneses, and small cranks. I get a lot on the rebel cricket hoppers. S.
  11. Im always interested in hearing how the inland bows were caught. What were you using, and what depths were you targeting? Those inland bows can really pull hard, and I think they pull harder in the fall! S.
  12. Sheesh....I paid big bucks for my barometer.....that one does the exact same thing! It doesn't lie. A falling barometer always makes them bite.....falling baro with the right wind is the best. S.
  13. I have an actual barometer that I swear by. A changing barometer always brings good fishing. S.
  14. Stuff happens quick, and ALWAYS when you least expect it. Always be ready for the worst possible scenario. Glad everyone is ok. S.
  15. Beauty! Looks rough out there. S.
  16. I promise to kill every pike I catch in the kawartha's!! I haven't had the chance yet....thankfully! S.
  17. Walleye fishin has been good in that area this year. I fish big gull a few times a year....at least. Spending xmas/newyears break up there this year. S.
  18. What porkpie said... its a bit of paper work but I believe its a great boat for the price. A replacement ownership is no big deal, I just did one. Service ontario will hook him up easy. Nice boat though, eh? S.
  19. I think it will feel right. Its a good looking rig. S.
  20. Like I said, nice fish either way. I don't know how a hybrid would get into pigeon, but anything is possible I guess. I've seen lots of "barred" fish come out of the kawarthas.....just like that one. S.
  21. I don't think that's a tiger musky, but its a nice looking fish. I've caught them like that out of pigeon before, but most are clear like the last one. Great day boys! S.
  22. Np. Good luck. When you get your license, and want to try waterfowling, get in touch. Im kinda crazy about ducks lol S.
  23. Not much of the ash borer up that way. Dont transport firewod, and it wont get there as fast either! S.
