  12. Im an old school steelheader too, Doug. I have schooled many of the new fandangled "steelheaders" doing things the tried and true ways. Ive even done it with a spinning reel haha..... S.
  13. I have never pulled out the shotgun or bow to go fishing.....apples to oranges. A test to fish? Riiiiiiiight!! Next will be a test on musky release and proper tools to fish musky??? LOL Thanks for sharing the regs.... S.

  17. So do it, but doing it on the side of the road at -20 in a blizzard sucks! Ask me how I know. Much nicer to sit in the warm truck and call CAA to put the trailer on a flatbed and take it to a heated shop to replace the hub.... S.
  18. My dad finished a wooden punt (rowboat) he had been working on for a couple years now. He named her "Handjob". I wish I could post a oic because she is a beautiful little boat, with quite a story. The first attempt was destroyed in a sea surge that took down his workshop, and almost his house too.....on christmas eve.......a few years ago. S.
  19. Yip, ive also had friends call me from the side of the road asking for a hand with a blown trailer bearing....no problem, let me call my caa........its really handy, especially in the winter!! S.
  20. I generally agree with most things you say Lew, but not this LOL This weather is the worst! Rain and wind, and mud. Cant do much outside in this crap. It makes me grumpy! I pray for a deep freeze every night!! S.

  22. Ct only covers YOUR vehicle CAA covers YOU.....or anyone with you. I have used caa many times to help others. I like the peice of mind having it and get a discount by having them for my home/auto insurance. Ive always got my monies worth. S.

  24. Its incredible. I was blown away. Thunder, lightening, and hail.....crazy skies!! I found the prairies as cool as the rest of the drive. S.
  25. I thought the drive through the prairies was amazing. If you've never done it, there is a lot of interesting things to see. I drive out and flew back. I would think if I had to drive back I would go thru the states.
