Ice fishing Bib and Jacket that are PDF?
Sinker replied to KawarthaAngler's topic in General Discussion
Coast Guard Approved is all thats needed in the USA. In Canada it needs to be transport canada approved to be a legal PFD. I don't care either way, makes no difference to me, My PFD's don't leave the boat anyways. S.- 24 replies

Ice fishing Bib and Jacket that are PDF?

I vote 2 piece as well. I am in the market for a new set as well. Striker, clam, and frabil all have great suits that are floaters as wel. I'd really like a camo arctic armour, but I have to go to the states to get one as they are not transport canada approved because of the colour. S.- 24 replies

Great video. I was really surprised you didn't know how to work that jig right. I thought of all people, you would know the trick to make it catch fish. They are a real fish magnet. I don't hit the lake without one rigged. I have hundreds of dollars worth of them in my box. They catch every kind of fish too, not just whities and lakers. I even use them on open water for vertical jigging all kinds of fish. S.

Purchasing a used boat from a dealer % rate

I think the most versatile boat is a 16ft tiller. You can fish 3 no problem, with a lot more room than a lot of much bigger console boats. You can handle some big water, and easily launch into smaller back lakes. You don't even notice it behind the truck towing, and fuel is next to nothing. Simple and effective. I've had the same boat since '93, and I catch as many fish as any other fancy boat, I will guarantee that. I've had tons of people ask my if my boat is an 18 footer too....they look at it and say, wow, that's a big boat.....but its not really. Just deep and wide, and tons of floor space to move around. That's my opinion anyways, I've been in and fished from all kinds of boats, and I like fishing from a wide open tiller the best. S. -
They can install a guage that shows them the level remotely somehow. We have one at work that we demanded be installed after our building ran out over xmas holidays. We were close to losing a lot of things because of it,and it was their fault. It was a huge pain in the butt to come back to after 10 days off.

50? Geeze, I thought you were much older than that! That is a real trophy from pigeon, bud. It looks awesome too. Great job they did. That 30lb musky should be no problem. The bass....well....who cares about bass anyways hahaha.... Happy belated birthday! S.

Um...read the title. For many many years joe opened on feb 15th. They changed it when family day weekend was before the 15th and people omplained. Should have just left it the 15th.

I would make sure floyd hales provides a bbq, because I don't think they do. Its a cook stove. If your perching, get some light line. 2-4lb test max, small jigs, and use the minnows provided. S.

Thanks guys! Driftwood seems to be one of the popular ones. Mixed reviews. I never know where to book at these places, so I usually wait until I'm there and check out the boats when I get there to see who has what and who is actually catching. I'm not sure about aruba. I may book ahead. I will be fishing for sure. I'd love to get one of those mahi mahis!!!! Nice catch!! I always bring gear as well, so if there is any chance of shore fishing, I'm doing it. S.

Anyone? I'm headed down at the end of april. Any first hand experiences with guides, or charters would be awesome, and any DIY tips greatly appreciated! S.

I have a tite lock clamp on transducer holder I can sell you cheap if your interested. I'm near peterborough though.... It would work great, and I have never used it. Just clamp it on a bucket and your good to go. S.

And "the years just flow by like a broken down dam."......where ya been? S.

I think it may have something to do with the body parts that were discovered down there. I think its been fenced off since then. Regardless, the guys who got charged should have got a warning the first time, not a fine. S.

Vibrato I use a snap. Not a snap swivel, a tiny snap. Meegs tie direct. And yes Brian, i always have the williams. Always. Everywhere. S.
-
Aint that the truth. I will never ever set foot on that side of the lake again. Thieves. Its totally ridiculous. S.
-
Bring a vibrato and a meegs jig. That's all you need. Maybe a williams half and half hammered. I would sleep all day using a spreader....so boring. Also, if you are going to use a spreader, buy them from the operator. They might cost more, but they are the ones that work. Donny and the boys have the good ones. S.

Its crap. People have been fishing there for generations. I'm one of them, and my father too. Why now, all of a sudden is it close off? There was one sign that said do not enter, and they were charged with nuisance? Thats such a joke. This world is going to pot. We are all doomed, I swear. I hope they take it to court and it gets thrown out, and these guys get reimbursed for their time away from home and work (yeah...right,...like thats going to happen) Back in the day, I would fish all these piers, along with hundreds of others. If someone fell in, we all helped get them out. No lawsuits, or blame....its a risk we take to catch fish. Just like ice fishing. Nobody ever drowned. So if I fall through the ice on a lake, can I sue the town for that too? Come on. Flippin lawyers and insurance are running the country. Ya can't even fish any more. What a mess we are in. I fear for all the B...S... my kids are going to have to deal with. S.

Yeah, you will get a ticket for parking over night in that lot, and you can't park trailers there ever. park up top, at the arena, or on the ice. I always park on the ice, never a problem, and I don't have to drag my hut on the road. Tons of ice, as you know, and the water there is maybe 2 ft deep max for about 300m from shore. All good. S.

Awesome. Sounds like my garage. I do a spring clean up and the wife loves me until I get all the summer gear from the back garage in there, and we are making trails thru the gear LOL. S.

Nice to see you Roy. Prine says a lot of good stuff.

The deeper you go, the more important it is to have the transducer perfectly level in the hole. Basically, the line on the transducer that sections it in half, is the line that needs to be level. If its out of level a few degrees, it makes a big difference. Not such an issue in 15ft of water, but in 100ft it is the difference between seeing your jig or not. S.

Have you had it out in really deep snow yet, Terry? Do you strap skis on it in deep snow? Its gotta be one of the most versitile rigs I've seen for sure. And a yammy to boot....can't go wrong there S.

The rigid drills have lifetime warranty.

I don't see any fish in the pic? Whats up with that?? LOL Thats a slick rig though. Very slick. S.
