13 years ago when I learned I was diabetic I switched from double/double coffee to black coffee. And I always went to Timmies. The first thing I noticed when I started drinking my coffee black was just how horrible Timmies coffee tasted. I stopped being a customer then. For my tastes McD's is the best of the bunch now and Country Style would be my 2nd choice. But 99% of the time I make my own at home. When I was drinking Timmies I was easily going there on average twice a day. Many bagels muffins and Tim bits too. Saved a lot of money since I broke that habit. Maybe others will go through the same money saving learning curve because of this closure. I hope they do because it all adds up.

We didn't buy a single veggie or fruit that isn't already bagged like apples and oranges. Same for bread in paper bags. I miss my Italian and French fresh baked bread. I'm not supposed to eat it anyway. It's nearly impossible to keep hands sterile unless you don't leave your home. Other than take the garbage out I haven't left our place since Monday. But we have to try our best. We have our place on the market. Talked to our agent last evening and the changes for viewings is logical. We had to fill out a form stating many things including we haven't come in contact with anyone that has the virus that we are aware of, we don't feel ill, haven't been out of the country in the past month and must wipe down all handles, light switches. No more than 3 in the place at a time and they also have to meet the same criteria as the sellers and not touch anything. We are OK not letting anyone come in our place for the near future. A buyer may be one of the idiots out there.

Too true.I have posted sensible advice and msgs about quarantine etc on our local(very active) FB page and get get the odd A-hat reacting with laughing emojis. I ask them to come on and explain exactly what it is they find funny---nor response of course. Those people are the ones who will make this disaster worse, IMO.

Last place I would want to go right now is where hundreds of people have been using the debit machine or dealing with someone that has been handling cash. Even if they are wearing gloves, the person before you hands them cash, virus transfers from cash to gloves, gloves to your cup, your cup to your hands........ Ya I guess I'm being paranoid 😊

Sadly they are thinking of themselves, someone is going to have to pick up those gloves at some point. It's the old "as long as it isn't me" attitude. Too many people just aren't taking this seriously but they will be the first ones to cry when a loved one dies from this. Breaks my heart to see some of the things going on around us today.

Tore the front thigh muscle did you, I did that 3 years ago, both legs, no fun for about 2 months. Doc said it was lucky it happened 1/2 way down the thigh, no operation required. Probably got about 99% use back so all is good.

What did you do? I have a few sets of crutches and 5 different canes you can choose from. One is made of wood, circa 1950's. The walker I still need. About 18 years ago they posted that pier "NO FISHING" with a warning of a big fine. Most piers are owned by the Feds not the province or county. I got everyone so worked up sending emails to every politician plus an actual protest that brought out a few dozen fisherfolks they took the signs down. Now is a great time for perch there. I once caught a baby perch with a piece of line and a dried up worm on it attached to a twig. Behind the Coast Guard station is a great spot too, if they haven't put a fence up and I think they did fence it off. That's where we caught emerald shinners too, right next to the fuel pumps. I got my personal best Perch still fishing from the boat in the channel to the marina close to the Coast Guard station, 13" in the dead of summer. There used to be an elderly lady , late 70's or in her 80's that went each and every day. She had a small shopping cart full of her weapons of mass perch destruction WMPD's. Rain or shine every day. I made the mistake one day and asked her how she was making out. I can't exactly recall her exact words but it was clear I was bothering her and not G rated.

And same here. French press all the way for reach flavor. Weekends are exceptions when the coffee brews on schedule. It literally wakes us up with its smell. 100% what @crappiehunter says. This is my second exception, when I grab a coffee on a go.

Same here. My only exception is with a long time fishing buddy. 30+ years ago we started the one person drives then the other buys the coffee when we go fishing. Still doing it when we hook up.

Thanks for stating the facts. We don’t need to fish for a short term in congested places. If we overcome this we will enjoy the sport later and our wildlife will recover also. From what I have read/seen being locked up. They had fish in the canals of Venice and less air pollution in a lot of other places.

Just got back from a trip to the grocery store. I watched a women grab EVERY orange in the rack, squeeze them then put them back. She's lucky to have survived our encounter. HH

Great to use disposable gloves, I do but when done I take them home and dispose of them in my garbage. In have ventured out and the parking lots are covered with them. What are people thinking? morons!
