Stoty Posted June 3, 2015 Report Posted June 3, 2015 My buddies and I ordered 5 of them a couple months ago when they were on sale, and loved them so much, I just placed another order for more! They're awesome, funny and functional. Great deal for sure!
fish_fishburn Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 Keep using sunscreen, that will give you skin cancer. Best to cover up when in the sun for long periods of time.
Bondar Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 I see what ya did here now LOL.... http://www.shareasale.com/shareasale.cfm?merchantID=59638

John Bacon Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Cool I wonder if they will scare the mosquitos away! Alreadygot bitten uin the neck twice photographing birds in a stream. New hobby. Need one with pictures of dragon flies.
Steve Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 so I got my 12 in today. they are much thinner than the two I already own. I hope they keep the sun out! Website shows SPF 40.... They certainly will be cooler than the two I currently own....I weighed them compared to the two I own and they are 40% lighter.... Guess that is a good thing, but can also be a bad thing. Not sure how they'll work out....but for $5 bucks per, if I don't like them, I'll sell them and make my money back. couldn't imagine paying full price for this specific brand however. too thin!!!
Steve Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 if it still stops the sun, then its GREAT for summer (less for keeping warm in cooler temps). however, they are thin enough that I hope they keep the rays out. we'll see soon enough. Bass opener in 11 days :)
Freshtrax Posted June 10, 2015 Report Posted June 10, 2015 I'm blessed with thick skin, immune to poison ivy, and on the sunniest of days spf15 is all I need. Seem like a good product for those sensitive to the sun.
DRIFTER_016 Posted June 10, 2015 Author Report Posted June 10, 2015 I'm blessed with thick skin, immune to poison ivy, and on the sunniest of days spf15 is all I need. Seem like a good product for those sensitive to the sun. There are studies and lots of articles out there that claim sun screen is doing more harm than good. Better to cover up than slather chemicals on your skin. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/dr-mike-hart/does-sunscreen-cause-cancer_b_3280578.html http://www.thebetterhealthstore.com/Newsletter/062510_Sunscreen_01.html http://time.com/3907272/skin-cancer-rates-melanoma/ http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/05/120507131951.htm
grimsbylander Posted June 10, 2015 Report Posted June 10, 2015 Got mine and they look good. If they were thicker I probably wouldn't wear them in the heat of the day when you actually need protection.
Bondar Posted June 22, 2015 Report Posted June 22, 2015 Hahahaha, ok who did it? http://m.kijiji.ca/fishing-camping-outdoor/kitchener-waterloo/facemasks/v?adId=1082120196&ck=CK&from=Search&ts=1435017417078
musky_hunter Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 LOL..thats pretty bad. at least use a nicer pic
fishindevil Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 The buffs are great have been using them for a few years now !!! And they do work as well as my UV SHIRTS !!! saves the agony of a major sunburn ....there is some real cool designs out there now !!! Got mine at bass pro for $20 each and have stood up well to repeated washings
tip-up Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 Buff guy for life here now!!! Really reduces sun fatigue at the end of those scorching hot days. Have not tried them in the cold, I'll normally put a balaclava on those days.
John Bacon Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 These type deals seem pretty common from this company. I definitely wouldn't pay the listed price for these seeing as 75% or 80% off is pretty common. I did order a set a few days ago. Hopefully they will be here soon.
