If I think of it I like to start off with this.

Throwin' out all kinds of fishing line.
Friday friday is a good time to shine.
Rant and rave, leave this town behind.
And start over with a new dream to climb.

The Hip for sure!!

As well I like Dire Straits. A couple of their studio albums and a live album hits the spot. Never get tired of it. As a matter of fact, I sort of save it for this time of year.

Hitting the road Saturday morning for Sturgeon Falls.

The Hip - Wheat kings (Or any hip)

John Denver - Take me home, country roads

Steve Earle - Copperhead road

Roger Miller - King of the Road

North to Alaska - Dwight Yoakam (cover)

Can't argue with any of the other posts either. I find country tunes are great on the way up as well.

Gotta be All- Canadian for me! Lots of Neil, Joni, and Gord--and Canadian Railroad Trilogy is a must! And when the Mrs and I go to GTA end of Summer for a NF trip, it's an updated but still Canadian list: Arcade Fire, Owen Pallett, Caribou, and Grimes....
