danbouck Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) Moncton for Tim's per Capita But Cambridge has about 25 of them Edited January 26, 2012 by Dan Bouck
Gerritt Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Ottawa St.... Been there before I was born!... they have a large bronze plaque on the wall outside of this location... Moncton.... insane, last I checked they had 20... G.
Nipfisher Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) I think North Bay has 12 or 13 of them and one just closed in our Canadian Tire store (because the store wouldn't give them more space to expand). Not sure how big Moncton is but North Bay is only 54,000. Edited January 26, 2012 by Nipfisher
irishfield Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Midland is only 16,000 at best + 8000 for Penetang... 6 locations.
danc Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 One just opened in Red Lake a couple of months ago. They'll probably make more money than Goldcorp.
irishfield Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Probably Dan.. I know the "temporary" store on King Street in Midland CLEARS a million a year... just because people can't brew their own....
Skipper D Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Most Tims per , i'd say London Ont .
Twocoda Posted January 26, 2012 Author Report Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) per capita it used to be brantford...but im not sure now up where i live we have 4 for 12000 people... Edited January 26, 2012 by Twocoda
BillM Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 I remember when St.Catharines was mentioned on the Tonight Show having the most donut shops per capita anywhere in North America.. That's when donuts were good! Anyone remember Homestead Donuts? Oh man, to die for!
Skipper D Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 The best donuts i ever , well there were many but that little bakery that used to be beside the train tracks in Baden Ont ...awsome.
SirCranksalot Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Eddie Shack put his name on a small chain of donut stores. Now whether he actually owned any of them.. he probably doesn't even remember! OK, we have a 2 time winner!!. So many got the right answer---I guess the question was a bit too easy. Here's a double-barreled question for the 'grand prize' of 12 of the same liquid: Which former teammate of Tim's owned an operated a Timmys in the GTA and where was it loated?
jedimaster Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Bancroft as 3, 2 full stores and 1 gas station one, population 3,000 give or take. Most Tims per , i'd say London Ont .
irishfield Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Bobby Baun and I'd say the store was in Scarberia.. but I couldn't tell you where exactly.
dave524 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Bobby Baun and I'd say the store was in Scarberia.. but I couldn't tell you where exactly. make that a 3 time winner
SirCranksalot Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) Nope, sorry. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, as they say.(Gotta at least get the town or city right) Edited January 26, 2012 by Knuguy
irishfield Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 LOL.. I figured Kingston Road had to be in Scarberia.. but I guess it was actually Pickering.
Moosebunk Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 Been drinking more McDonald's coffee lately. Rarely a line-up, same price, tastes every bit as good.
Billy Bob Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 Been drinking more McDonald's coffee lately. Rarely a line-up, same price, tastes every bit as good. Not here.....McDonald's has been selling their coffee for $.79 per ANY SIZE cup since the first of the year here....and I do agree, less of a line....when I drive on Tuesday's that definitely one of my stops now on my route....It's good coffee, just not as strong as Timmy's...I like stronger coffee....that's why I put Starbuck's as # 1 in my book. Dunkin Donuts is too weak for me so I never go there.
danbouck Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 It actually just happened to me Me - "I'll have a large double double" Her - "An XL double double?" Me - "No a L double double" Her - "So a M double double then" Me - "Press L on you register"
Skipper D Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 (edited) it dose'nt take much some time to slow them up hum ...... Edited January 28, 2012 by Skipper " D "

BillM Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 It's like they are the only ones that know about the new cup sizes.

Billy Bob Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 Seems a lot easier getting a cup of coffee here in the USA....
