Then I park and leave the doors open for 10 minutes with the music cranked to scare any bears away. Seems to work, caught a few fish and never been eatin!

I had a favourite hat that blew off on Lake Ontario, it was rough and not safe to turn to get it. I am working in a new one. I'm the same. I never put 1 oz of water in the live well until the 1st fish is caught.

Remastered Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 When I ice fish with live minnows, I sometimes move a good distance away from my rod. It seems to work especially well with rainbow trout.
