Rattletrap2 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Very nice Paul! You can't go wrong with a Princecraft either! I really like the idea of the hand controlled (hand steered) bow mount trolling motor too. You should be able to just nudge it with your knee to keep things on course. Enjoy your new baby and have some fun!

mercman Posted May 1, 2011 Author Report Posted May 1, 2011 Nice ride Paul...im miss the new boat feeling ...hope she serves you well for many years...what are ya going to name her? It's gonna be the D.R.White, in memory of my father. Douglas Robert White. He would have been very happy for me. Fisherman Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Looks great & congrats! That polished hull looks great; if you want it to keep looking great, have a look at Sharkhide. http://www.sharkhide.com/mpinfo.html Don (Deg) uses it on his 21' North River and it still looks like new. Is there any place to buy that locally? Looks nice on the bottom of his boat,

Nipfisher Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Now you need a nice new Red Tundra to pull that Purdy Boat. Now go catch a fish, Bob A nice new red Ford F150 would look better.
Billy Bob Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 A nice new red Ford F150 would look better. And it would save LOTS of gas when it's in the shop all the time... But Paul wants to go fishing.....so TUNDRA...
Leecher Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 And it would save LOTS of gas when it's in the shop all the time... But Paul wants to go fishing.....so TUNDRA... Sorry Bob.... Tundra is passé.... Paul needs one of them beauties now
mercman Posted May 1, 2011 Author Report Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) Thanks everyone Bob and Jacques, i think i'll keep my little Ranger.Dont even feeel the boat behind it. I installed the electronics today.I put my Lowrance X135 on the bow, with the transducer on the trollling motor, and i installed the HB 587 Ci sonar/GPS on the console. Now come on open season I chose tiller so i wouldnt clutter up the casting deck.Plus i can be a bit of a clutz, and wouldnt want to end up in the drink Edited May 1, 2011 by mercman
