Gerritt Posted January 8, 2011 Author Report Posted January 8, 2011 Just an heads up, I spoke with his nurse via phone, and Spiel is doing well, he is sleeping, but other then that everything went very well. for those interested he is at Hamilton General Hospital, 6 West, Room 5 Bed #2 G.

solopaddler Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 He's become a good friend and I know he's a fighter. He'll pull through. Looking forward to more of this in the future. I managed to drag him out earlier this fall. The pain he endured was brutal...our "day" was done after a couple of hours. The man has a knack for catching fish though. He's going to be a holy terror when he's pain free.
