Fisherman Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Don't know why you can't reply to the topic in the other section, but I think it's worth mentioning it. I have to agree with TJ about the Bass Pro lifetime socks. I've got 5 pair of these for the winter months, they are without a doubt good quality. I've had the first two pair for about 5 years now, they are getting a bit fuzzy, but no holes or bare spots, keep your feet dry and warm. Keep an eye on the BPro flyers, every now and then they are on sale. http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=36885
Roy Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Yeah, they appear to be of good quality, Fisherman. You can start a thread in the Announcements section but you can't post to an existing thread. This was done to keep announcements as just that, announcements. We can talk about them here all we want.
Terry Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 wow one pair of socks for life do I have to remove the socks to clean them now and then or can I just keep them on LOL
NAW Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) I have a pair of them. No complaints. Their merino wool socks are good too, but no life time warranty. I'd love to see the look on the customer service persons face when you bring a dirty stinky 15 year old sock back to the store because it has a whole in it Edited October 13, 2009 by F to the Is-H
BillM Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I like the 40 below wool socks at Marks... Used them all winter while wading... worked great!
Fang Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 never head to temagami for moose hunting without them now. By the looks of the weather report it's gonna be colder than normal next week. Might have to get another couple pairs to wear as mitts
Bondar Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) i like those socks a lot i have 4 or 5 pairs , i like them in the waders and for ice fishing no complaints here Edited October 13, 2009 by Wiser
bigugli Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 The real test will be to see how they last on me. The souls on gray work socks usually dissolve on the second or third wear. Wifey picks up a dozen pair every 3 months
anders Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I got a pair of these and where them all winter and fall...amazing really..no holes wear spots, nothing...just dont put them in the dryer

I guess I will soon go out and look for a pair. I have not worn a pair of socks since July 2001. I am finding that it gets chilly clearing the snow off the driveway even if using the snow blower. I guess "FREEDOM 55" that started on December 3, 1999 has finally caught up to me. carp-starter

Fisherman Posted October 14, 2009 Author Report Posted October 14, 2009 That's great..you keep buying them at that price and I'll wait until they're back around $8.99 on sale..
