bigfish1965 Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 For the first time in two years we had a server failure..or more accurately the server went down due to a total power failure at our hosts location. It all seems to be fine now, but running a bit slow as all the servers come back online and the load sharing starts to kick in. Hopefully you used the time wisely...raked the leaves or talked to your spouse or sumthin.
Anton Kanagasuntheri Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 I think I did some actual work at my workplace for a change! lol

tonyb Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Power failure is better than server hardware failure...
Headhunter Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks those in charge for getting us back up! I found myself sitting in a corner of my office, huddled into a ball, rocking back and forth mumbling fish porn, fish porn under my breath! I can now begin my regularly scheduled programming! HH

Rich Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 I didn't understand.. I made my coffee, breakfast... sat down before work and didn't see OFC. I almost called in sick.
JohnF Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Jeez guys. Ya need to get real jobs (Except you, of course, GCD. We know yer unemployed fer chronological reasons.) For my own part I wuz way too occupied with getting my new real estate office up and running to fritter away the day talking to a bunch of fish-obsessed layabouts. I feel good about that - and really really lucky cuz it didn't happen on almost any other day of the year when I woulda been jonesing for a fix (of the OFC variety). Just don't let it happen again. I hate when my wife sees me whispering sweet nothings to my baitcaster - for want of a better way to pass time. JF
misfish Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 new real estate office up and running Do you have a hut for sale?LOL Good luck John.
