This picture was taken in 1958 Danbo, it's my dad, my brother eddyk on your left and that's me on your right in the brown striped sweater.

You can see the bone handle of a knife on my right hip, and I've still got it and it still travels with me on all my camping trips.

Not bad for 50 years eh ?? ;)

Gerber-Paraframe-I-Serrated-22-08445-350x350.gif

For just around the camp I like to use my Gerber... looks like the pic but mines silver... but for walking around the woods I like to use the big knife my surrogate dad gave me before he died when I was 16. That one's got to be 7 inches long.. black handle... old and not very stylish but it's still sharp and solid.

I may have a bigger one somewhere with me but this is all I carry in the boat. Done it for 15+ years with no problems.

Hey Lew,

Are you sure that is you in the photo?????

It appears to me that there is SMILE on your face. Good on ya for keeping the old photos around.

I carry a swiss in my pocket and a good Gerber Multi-tool in my tackle box.

LEW, is that a smile??? You mean when you were a kid, you smiled, I find that hard to believe!!! LOL

I have a Gerber Multi Tool that I bought 15 years ago that goes wherever I do and for camping etc.... I have a CUTCO hunting knife that I bought 20 years ago that is fantastic. Also, my CUTCO Fisherman's Solution fishing knife accompanies me whenever I wet a line, it too is 20 years old and is very good.

OUCH!! I did the same thing at LeB's, embarrassing. Some evil closer mechanism bit me and left a mark.

Even worse, the dude behind the counter had a box of band aids.

Emil, nice job on the family, and thanks for looking after my knife for the past coupla years. I can trade it for a box o pampers.
