  1. Take a look around this map... you might find something you like. (It's just of Northern Ontario). It shows you the lodges, backtrail, routes, etc. Coolest thing; it shows you what kind of fish species are in a lake. I thought that was neat. NOmap.ca
  2. Either way... I'm not going to eat it.
  3. lol Spent a lot of time laying across the seat, boat cushion as a pillow, nose in a book and rod between my feet. I always said I was multitasking.
  4. I have to admit, sometimes I'll zone out completely and not realize I've had something nibbling away at my bait for ten minutes. When I was a kid my mom would make me tie my rod up to the boat because of it.
  5. Quick question.. why is the envelope beside this on fire?
  6. As much as I hate to admit it, everything in the first post comes into play at times. Usually it's just something to do after a long day of work, good way to hang out with family or just plain old interesting people. I like just rocking away in a boat, sitting quietly, watching the sparkles in the water... oh.. sometimes it's necessary in order to eat. We don't pack much food when we go out in the bush.
  7. *shrug* I dunno... I personally don't have a certain bait that I use everytime. I use what's necessary for the conditions. Variety is the spice of life... so they say. And I don't check the horoscopes or solunar phases. I drop my line whenever the mood strikes, and that all depends on when others feel like heading out in the boat. Also don't worry too much about what kind of rod I'm using... as long as it casts, right? Confidence? I dunno. I've guided some boys who were very confident that they could outfish me, some silly little girl. They got over-confident and I ended up making them eat their own worms (which always makes me feel a little bad). I find that it's when you aren't too confident, and aren't too needy that the nice fish start to bite.
  8. That sounds like a great deal Fisher Girl. I'd go for it. Awww! Love the baby owls!! So cute and scary at the same time!
  9. LOL Fish porn... I've never heard that before. =)
  10. Sounds defective to me... I've been using the self-inflating stuff for the past couple summers and it usually only takes a half hour or so to fill after I open the valve. What happened, did you take it back?
  11. Really beautiful. =) Love the sunset over the city.
