  1. In last few weeks have been plagued by excruciating pain in my right leg. Have Multiple Sclerosis so i thought this was some progression of the disease, went to MS clinic and they gave me muscle relaxants and painkillers thinking it was an MS thing called 'spasticity'. The pain was so bad i went to a physiotherapist looking for relief wasn't getting any from painkillers etc... The physiotherapist listened to my descriptions and told me i have sciatica. I was oddly relieved as she said it could be treated. That was a week ago, i had one treatmemnt with little relief. This pain is worse than the MS stuff. Just wondering if anyone has had sciatica with successsful treatment? Apparently it is kinda common. Thanks in advance.
  2. Carmine Appice puts on an incredible drum performance. Very underrated song...real gem.
  3. With continued effort some muskies will establish themselves in Simcoe. As an aside a decade ago caught many Kawartha musky with Lymphosarcoma, the last few years haven't seen any. It was on Quinte walleye as well but wouldn't know if it is still on them.
  4. This thread started with British dudes (Jimmy Page, Robert Plant et al) on fire. Here is some GTA dudes tearing it up...one of greatest guitar episodes ever.
  5. For something completely different, same years.... And now for something complex and completely different and incredible.... Feeling retro tonite
  6. You don't need to go to Quinte when the big walleyes are there. I remember going to Summerstown a decade or so ago, hoping for those fish, all we caught were pike Excellent fish and report.
  7. Very nice fish for the end of softwater season See a little snow on latest additions. bbrrr... That crappie is a good size, must had been a surprise.

Kinda frustrating just browsing here now.
  9. I planted some in the Christie Pits/Annex area here in Toronto. Initially really got into it and found 150 of them in downtown Toronto area, have done little searching recently as my young daughter is losing interest. Was good fun for family getting out to new interesting places.

  11. Like the spots on the muskies over there. Great first fish, obviously your guide knew his stuff.
  12. That is a great big musky. Those Lake Erie are real bruisers.
  13. Twenty years ago or more i did my apprenticeshp as a chef under a traditional German chef. Ended up making tons of that stuff. Had to tenderize slices with meat hammer then woodpicked them after rolling. Absolutely love the stuff but have not seen it for many years. Great job, looks super yummy!
  14. Many years ago i found Bay of Quinte was the best place for walleye through the ice. Simcoe wasn't bad for walleye by Talbot R. in last week of March, until season closed two weeks early.
  15. With Lac Seul and Eagle Lake so close you are blessed with a lifetime of fishing opportunities. Thanks for continuing the sharing of these adventures.
  16. Great steelies there Mike. Sounds like the possibility of recovery is high from the medical condition. Looking forward to future great reports from you(especially creek brookies)
  17. Great tribute...much respect to those who endured
  18. I remember posting about this a couple of years ago, it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Fatal safety issues for many so a few could profit. http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22185&st=0&p=232567&hl=cameco%20ehg&fromsearch=1entry232567
  19. Always thought you had to be south of CNR tracks after September 31st as well. Noticed these Hwy 2 regulations until Dec. 31st a couple of years ago. Was told it was like that for a long time, i didn't know either
  20. Always lots of smallies of the nuke plants, gotta make sure the winds are safe. Thanks for posting.
  21. The walleye coloured jointed shad rap is an excellent bait in Great Lakes. Seems like you had a great outing again, very nice. Great bright photos as well. I remember you had bright photos with a 2 megapixel Kodak many years ago.
  22. Your daughter will be a pillar of strength and get through this. She is lucky to have you and Leah as parents in this situation.
  23. Ditto on the Bass Pro lifetime guarentee socks. Any cold weather and these socks go on. Have a few pairs for a few years and they are like new still.
  24. One of the bigger smallmouth i caught in Pigeon Lake. Summer of 2009 while trying for bass.
  25. Awesome pictures and bit of story Writing a book describing the pictures is an excellent idea. Thanks for the preview of the incredible experience and photographs.
