Outstanding report Dave.
It's been far too long since I plodded through the cold water streams of Grey Bruce with fly rod in hand for native trout and your post reminds me of what I'm missing out on.
Quitting is easy Simon, I've done it many times.
Most recently Jan. 6th 2011 for 5 months....
Yes I'm weak at times but I'll kick this nasty habit one day, someday, permanently!
Nasty, nasty habit..... *choke, cough*
Well if I have to interject and I will, your fish is "golden" Randy as it's quite obvious we didn't have a "Team 5, 5cale Bu5ster5 last year.
Nice, very nice Tomiko walleye Randy, end of debate!
Well since my last post 40 minutes ago the weather has become severe, pissing rain, thunder, lightning with extreme winds out of a northerly direction and the temperature dropped quicky.
I hope all of our members (and non members) can see what's approaching with enough to time to get off the water safely. Very nasty out there!
I was thinking much the same thing Erik, while it hasn't rained yet here in Hamilton the skies are balck, thunder is rumbling and the winds are eerily calm, me thinks a storm is immanent. But then again I understand that's good for musky fishing.
I hope all our friends play safe and don't risk their necks for a fish.
