Watch the replay again MB and you will see Donaldson come flying in on left side of your screen. It looks like he takes a couple of guys out with him. I think they stood up pretty well. At least to these "grumpy ole eyes". HH

Ontario to spend $7-billion on sweeping climate change plan
Headhunter replied to fishnsled's topic in General Discussion
Well Will, where are we going to move to?! My wife and I have been talking about getting outta here before Uncle Katy and her fellow nannies completely destroy the province... still just talk though. So, you are a multi-national company considering locations for your newest expansion and Ontario is on your list. Once this info is made available to the rest of the world, forget any investment heading our way. HH edit for spelling... -
Pretty low to do it in his last at bat after how many games played against each other this year! Funny, we here at the house had taken to calling him stink boy, since last fall! Wondering if there will be any fall out from MLB and possible suspensions? HH

It's a kids game played by men, the men came out yesterday. The slide was old school, the way the game is to be played. The punch, again old school and it should be handled by the players. Things will even out. HH

Now wouldn't it be awful if one of those poor creatures were to hurt by a passing boat. HH

Congrats Mr G! I bet you are happy one of them has "put the stem on the ole apple"? HH -
Couldn't they just pop him into a bamboo steamer and bring him back to life? HH

Wasn't Socrates in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"? HH -
Wife's cousin had a cottage on one of the islands visable from the highway. Too close for comfort for me, but they liked it while they had it. We could order a pizza and have it delivered to the government dock! I fished a few areas of the lake, anything specific you are looking for? HH

Not a police state Dara, a Revenue State! HH

The Erie Express is at it again! Is there anyone left in the Indian's organization? If I was one of the vendors at the Dome, you know the guys, walking up and down the stairs selling beer and stuff, I would be looking over my shoulder for a Cleveland guy to come in and take my job! The Indians suck and have for some time. Yah, I get the "budget restraints, but there has to be people available that don't have the cheesey buck toothed mascot tattooed to their behind. As far as the Jays themselves go, I think they need a road trip to get themselves sorted out. HH

Definitely! I'm not much of a turkey fan, but any time we have a turkey dinner, I get the neck, gizzard and liver as my part of the meal. Most of the time, it gets eaten well before meal time. If you are a fan of chicken liver, try this... Get some liver, clean up the yellow stringy stuff and cut it into bite sized chunks. Get some sliced water chestnuts and some bacon and wrap the liver and water chestnuts with bacon. Use a toothpick to hold it all together. Into the oven at 375 until the bacon crisps... such a sweet appetizer! HH

I don't find that Shag. I find chicken livers to be pretty mild on the liver scale. My wife HATES liver, any kind. I usually put chicken liver in my stock and she loves it. (I just don't tell her!) You mileage may vary... HH

Put some chicken giblets and livers in the stock to enhance the flavour and the Jewish penicillin.! HH

My take away from the first four games is that the starting pitching is where we need it to be. Can't fault the starters at all. Martin and Smoak/Colobello need to start hitting and this team will hit it's stride. HH

So could Crestliner Wayne, just ask Will! HH

My son's Bearded Dragon loves dandelion leaves! Can't wait to get out on the lawn and pick him his breakfast vs buying chopped Kale from the store! HH

Wisdom Of A Senior Lying around, pondering the problems of the world, I realized that, at my age, I don't really give a rat's a-s anymore. If walking is good for your health, the postman would be immortal. A whale swims all day, only eats fish, and drinks water, but is still fat. A rabbit runs, and hops, and only lives15 years, while a tortoise doesn't run, and does mostly nothing, yet it lives for 150 years. And they tell us to exercise? I don't think so. Now that I'm older, here's what I've discovered: 1. I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it. 2. My wild oats are mostly enjoyed with prunes and all-bran. 3. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded. 4. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded. 5. If all is not lost, then where the heck is it? 6. It was a whole lot easier to get older, than it was to get wiser. 7. Some days, you're the top dog, some days you're the hydrant. 8. I wish the buck really did stop here; I sure could use a few of them. 9. Kids in the back seat cause accidents. 10. Accidents in the back seat cause kids. 11. It is hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere. 12. The world only beats a path to your door when you're in the bathroom. 13. If God wanted me to touch my toes, he'd have put them on my knees. 14. When I'm finally holding all the right cards, everyone wants to play chess. 15. It is not hard to meet expenses . . . They're everywhere. 16. The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth.. 17. These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter . . . I go somewhere to get something, and then wonder what I'm "here after". 18. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded. 19. It is a lot better to be seen than viewed. 20. Have I sent this message to you before...or did I get it from you? HH

I was in Holguin and watched a guy fishing the day away from shore. Very light tackle and raw shrimp sourced from the kitchen had him busy most of the afternoon, but nothing of size was caught. I think the key is to find, as mentioned above, reefs near shore that have deep water access in close proximity. As side note, like others here have said, bring stuff down to give the the locals. A trip to the dollar store to buy, pens, pencils, paper, coloured markers is hugely appreciated. We brought old baseball gloves and they were met with tears of appreciation. I also hit my local Long and McQuade and bought up a bunch of their house brand guitar strings to give to local musicians. Again, met with tears of joy! Remember that the average Cuban makes between $12 and $20 / month, so anything you can do to help them out is huge! And Big Cliff is right, the people of Cuba are the best I have encountered. On our last trip to Varadaro, the airline left our luggage in T.O. We had virtually nothing for four days! The Cubans who worked at the resort offered to bring us clothes from their homes to help us out! Lovely people who I hope don't get spoiled, when the U.S moves in... HH

This is truly sad. Many did not care for his ways, but I challenge anyone to name a mayor in Toronto, who did more for his constituents. I feel for his wife and kids. HH

That thing is huge! Congrats to the young man who caught it! I have only tried eating them from Quinte, once... and I won't be doing that again! HH
