  1. I was at Jembi Lake through White River Air for a week this past July. If you are specific in your questions, I would be happy to answer them. HH
  2. If it was truly Canadian, there would be a Tim Horton's underneath it. HH
  3. 12 years and out for good behavior in five is my guess. Such a shame... HH
  4. GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!!!!! HH
  5. I guess I'll clarify my point. If you have ever been to a Raptors game, you would know that the building is a bee hive of energy. From the constant playing of up-beat music, to the interaction with the fans, the NBA is a fast paced form of entertainment. This is why I have made the comments that I have. Sting is not a high energy, fast paced performer. His solo work is considered among the high brow community to be rock n roll, but in reality, he's the Perry Como of "modern music. i just don't feel that he is in any way a fit for this gig. Sorry if I have hurt any feelings. HH
  6. I guess than that Perry Como is not alive anymore? HH
  7. It's all a ploy to get folks to the concession stands and buying beer during half time! HH
  8. Only those of us who have a pulse! His music, solo work, is akin to watching paint dry or grass grow. His work with the Police was over shadowed by both Andy and Stuart, the real talent in that band! HH
  9. Monster Truck!!!! HH
  10. Well, on the up side, the Lute player at the Toronto Symphony might make some extra coin from this gig! HH
  11. Sting has been announced as the half time show at the NBA all-star game. Now when I think of the NBA and specifically Toronto, the last name I would have come up with is Sting. Looking at the demographics of the NBA, I can't understand how he got the gig! At 66 years old and not having anything in the recent past that resembles a hit, how could he have gotten this gig? Doesn't Toronto have a few world class musicians currently riding a huge wave of popularity? Your thoughts on this? HH
  12. Mmmmmmm.... smelt!!!! My favorite! Pike bait that is! LOL HH
  13. If I heard this correctly on the news last night, the CEO was on a cruise when all this went down! She was informed, while on vacation that the finances were such that they would have to shut down. Obviously this didn't happen overnight and that the writing was on the wall well before the CEO took off for the sunny south. No regard for the the employees who did the work to line her pockets... Disgusting! I also heard that some private investors have stepped up to help them out. First order of business, fire that CEO! HH
  14. From what I have gathered, it seems that their cost of doing business, out stripped their income. Their rents have increased driving their overhead costs beyond their income. It boggles my mind how they could hire a CEO who has already proven that she cannot control budgets/costs. It is also my understanding that all GW's will remain closed until a solution is found. Typically, that solution will entail only the most profitable stores have a chance. HH
  15. Well, the mileage may have been low, but it is a 2008 and regardless of mileage, time will do nasty things to vehicles. HH
  16. He may have thought he brought his hover-craft. HH
  17. That looks sweet Dan! HH
  18. CaptP, to get the dorsal fin to stand up, just tap the back of the fish, in front of the dorsal and it will pop up! HH
  19. Cliff, I asked my tech the same question, should I upgrade to Win 10. His answer was quick and to the point, a resounding NO! Too many issues involved in Win 10 that have not been fully addressed. He's had a ton of business come through the door from folks who have done the upgrade, only to have major issues with compatibility and performance. I tried doning the upgrade on my two year old machine and it bombed out after three hours! My computer was a mess! Went back to my old operating system, Win 7pro and all is well again. I'm with everyone else, if it aint broke, don't fix it. HH
  20. Nice report and sweet shot of the soon to be consumed tasty treats. I notice that your spud looks almost identical to mine! My brother made mine years ago, I have never seen one like it! HH
  21. If they do get the job on the second bridge, I hope they build it more better. HH
  22. I agree Terry, his post as a guide was one excellent read. The pics weren't bad either. HH
  23. Art, Pandora's box was kicked wide open years ago, what we are really discussing is if the government will be getting their piece of the action. One can rant all they want about it's effects, but it is everywhere and used by a great many people. It's like arguing if booze should be illegal or not, if it was, folks would be brewing and making home stills and the gov wouldn't get their piece of the pie. the gov wants their pie. HH
  24. Well Jedi, the number of people on the roads who are under the influence of booze, pot , Rx drugs etc would probably astound most of us, except maybe FishnAutographs. Do you feel that the current laws governing pot and it's distribution are realistic and fair? I know we can't trust everyone to do the right thing, but this nanny state that the Lieberals have established is finally giving the folks in this province the ability to make their own decisions. If they are going to keep pot illegal, than based on your arguments, they should make booze illegal as well. HH
