  1. The Onion rocks! Check out the item they have about Sony's latest new gizmo. LMAO HH PS... smoked monkey... drool!
  2. Get a hold of TJ, buy and ad or banner... nuff said! HH
  3. Thanks for the info Chris... that would probably solve half my problem with the reel, ultimately I think the best solution will be run over it with my truck! HH
  4. I bought a Quantum PTi many years ago and if I hadn't paid so much for it, it would be resting comfortably at the bottom of the lake! The anti-reverse has a mind of it's own and it seems to decide to disengage at the most inappropriate times, most of them being during hook set... heck, I bet if you ask Bernie, he could tell you that the sound of my voice is still bouncing around Nip from me screaming at that reel on May 24 weekend! The bail is also like minded and it like to close on me during casting... Quantum... NEVER AGAIN! Back on topic... business is business... no surprises here! HH
  5. May I suggest that you use Floro on your spinning reels... I have had nothing but great luck/success witht he stuff. Used in the right application, I think it's great! HH
  6. A very good idea that I will have to employ! Garlic is my birthstone! HH
  7. Well jeez Lew, I don't think I can think of a more appropriate endorser of Yammy products! If Yammy motors can put a smile on your face, well that in itself would be an accomplishment that many a musky, has been unable to achieve! HH
  8. Deer flies, As you know, they really like to fly around your head, looking for that bit of exposed skin to land on. Here's a trick that really works: When Mr. Deer Fly is circling your head, place your hand on top of your head, palm down. The deer fly will land on your hand, he can't help himself! Smack 'em with your other hand, step on him, pick him up, dig a big hole, place the deer fly in the hole and cover with cement. This should give you enough time to get away from him before he emerges from the hole, slightly irritated! HH
  9. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/warnings/son_e.html Could be an entertaining afternoon and evening! On the up side, will definately make for some fine worm pickin! HH
  10. There's a launch on "Airport Road" just past casino Rama... I believe is free. Good luck and as Brian says, be sure to pick your days in a 12 ft tinny. HH
  11. That's gonna make for a long drive to Bernie's G! A man's got to do, what a man's got to do G, what ever you decide, I hope you find happiness and good fishin bud! HH
  12. Is anyone really surprised by this? Our governements have spent huge sums of money on "stimulus" in order to get our economies out of the toilet. The deficits are massive and the bills need to be paid. Slippin another tax past the public is nothing compared to the heat they will have to endure when we finally get to know how much our governments owe. May I be so bold as to suggest that we start to prepare ourselves for even more taxation? If McSquinty doesn't get re-elected, guess what the new goverment is going to do? They'll tell us that our finances are in worse shape then they thought and they will up our taxes even further. There is no win for the little guy, so I suggest that we simply continue to bend over, and if you do, hopfully it will be grabbing a fish at the side of the boat. At least that way you are doing something you like will getting stooped! See ya all in a week, I'm on vacation in 15 minutes! HH
  13. Well I'm hoping that Bosh leaving will be the beginning of the demise of the Raptors which would mean that they will no longer be in a position to ruin the ice for the Leafs and therefore the Leafs will win the cup this year! HH
  14. Fantastic Bernie! And not a Goat to be seen! Karen's smile says it all! Leave a few for Cliff, would ya! LOL HH
  15. That's not a Salmon, it's a Volkswagon!!!!! Congrats, really nice clean and big fish! HH
  16. Very interesting article... thanks for posting it. If the numbers represented in the article are actually fact, I would think that a certain special interest group, who have been hounding folks here on the board about keeping Lake O fish, would have a new target to pursue. HH
  17. Well there's a pretty significant "lock down" happening down town right now... they have closed University Ave for the Shriners parade, until 7:00pm tonight. Absolute grid lock down here... 1/2 an hour to go a block... luckily, it's not hot outside! Stay safe all... HH
  18. Maybe Johnny Bass will take youup on your offer. I'm sure that the ensuing conversation would be worth the drive! LMAO Nice of you to offer John! HH
  19. Lloyd... stop yelling! The boat is stopped, we can all hear you! Looks like yet another great day out on the big lake... HH
  20. Nice job Cliff! Just glue some marbles on thier eyes, take another pic and yer good to go! HH
  21. Nice work Doc! That one smallie is a TOAD! Thanks for takin the time... HH
  22. Terry, I have a yellow one you can use any time. White ones hurt the eyes too much in the direct sunlight. HH
  23. Good trade indeed Spiel! Mmmmmm, bullwinkle meat loaf! HH
  24. Well Chessy, you should see how wonderful my roses are! I love special interest groups, especially when their special interest is their own! Go catch a fish, heck, maybe even post a report, but leave LEGAL fisherman alone! So maybe you won't be able to catch the trout seen in these pics next spring while their spawning, so what. I do believe you have made your point, you can sleep easy now. How about this question... how much extra license money comes in to the MNR as a result of charters on Lake O? Money that would not have been available to them, should there not be a charter industry on Lake O. Thanks goodness carp guys don't use pins!!! HH
