That would have been the last place I would have thought of for Grayling... really cool! Thanks for taking us along... HH

What's to stop this guy from strolling into a CTC somewhere, filling out an application for a fishing liscense under another name and heading out to the lake? Does the MNR have more detailed info on us that could prevent this? Do they require other I.D. when they are writing someone up? (I have never been written up so I have no clue) HH

You could hire "The Giesler Island Band" LMAO! The logistics may be difficult and the required booze to get them to play a song all the way through might add up as well, but a finer group of fishin muscians you'll not find! HH

Two words... Scarlet Johansson!!!!!!!! Humina humina humina!!! HH

Last year's earthquake and tsunami have really messed up a lot of Japanese companies. The supply chain in turn takes a beating, with a long trickle down effect thoughout many industries. Not too much unlike the debris now washing up on shore, on our west coast. HH

Cool Peter! I was considering getting a tat the read 667... It's the neighbour of the beast! LOL HH

Positive thoughts heading your way bud... stay strong. HH -
Use a stick... a snapper will not let go of a stick, if you are holding it. Should you be unfortunate enough to hook a snapper, grab a stick and wave it in front of the turtle. It will grab and hold onto the stick. You can now remove the hook (assuming it not in it's mouth!)but never let go of the stick, until you have the hook out. HH

Great pics guys! (Better be good pics from you guys!) Those browns look killer! Just so yah know, never get in the way of FnS when there's a foot pedal involved! HH

You know Slayer, you're right... I guess I defer to the "preference" of the board ownership. As far as who you are and how many posts you have, well, I can attest to that statement as well... when I first joined here, I was definately on the outside lookin in... and that didn't sit well with me, so I did something about it... I made an effort to meet up with as many folks on here as possible... I can now state that many here are friends, some very good friends. You can only go so far typing... You get what you put into a place like this... HH

REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have got to be kidding me... condoning illegal activities at any level is not cool! And a huge plus a million to what Bill said! HH

Well, I just re-read the o.p and frankly, he got off light! I certainly understand the desire to keep new folks here and interested in fishing, but based on what I read in the other thread, no one stepped over the line, well, except the OP as he did not follow both MNR rules or OFC rules. When he accepted an account here, he agreed to the terms of use... had it not been for a quick working mod, that thread would have gone nuts with folks tearing the OP a new one... No different the another thread currently on here referring to "The MNR sucks". Glad the guy caught a nice smallie, but he should never have posted that pic on any board. Telling the community to go fly a kite, just adds salt to the wound. AS usual, all this IMHO. HH

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't local police be interested? Do they not work hand in hand with MNR in these situations? Kudo's to you for trying. HH

When I lived in the Beach area of Toronto, my wife had a lab/pointer mix... His favorite toy was a hard plastic bone, so I drilled a hole in one end, ran a 12 inch leader through it, and hooked it up to my muskie rod. Took the dog to the neighbourhood school and started casting... the dog loved it! We did get some strange looks I would burn it in, that bone would dance across the grass... the dog would go nuts! Head shake were awesome! I also had a cat that I would use a 5ft ultra-light on... so to speak! I'd flip for him in the living room... much to my wife's chagrin. HH

Thanks for the nice comments folks! We had a blast... the only reason we do it! Would love to see some OFC'ers at our next couple of shows! We've been asked to play a fund raiser for the Special Olympics that will take place on May 19th in Oshawa... that should be fun and obviously a really good cause. Thanks for posting the band web site Will... yes there are some "off the floor" snippets on the band web site. Heck, like us on Facebook... I really can't believe I said that! Thanks again! HH -
Those are some trojan Perch BB! Way to go! What time is the dinner bell? HH

Although the "dishwashers" in the pic Wayne posted performed their jobs effectively, one could here the whining a moaning coming from them... HH

Awesome! What a pig! HH

Or, you could consider moving closer to the Lake (LakeO)as that is where the majority of you fishing time is spent. I hear Oakville has some nice places! Good luck Emil... and one word of advice... just because the "specs" say something, doesn't necessarily mean that it will do it well! HH
-
It would look good right under my roses... that's a big minnow! HH

I believe that when everyone is treated equally, then we will not have any of these issues... HH

Not to mention the collateral damage caused by netting Nip… but I guess that the more things change, the more they stay the same… I would like to hear from Crossfire on this though... he has shown a willingness to discuss this issue in the past and I hope he is willing to do so again... as long as we here remain respectful...toward him. HH

Well, at least Nip is still beautiful area to spend some time... not necessarily fishing.... HH
