As I look at today's standing, I see the Leaf's on the outside looking in... so I venture to take a look at which team, ahead of them in the standings, are they going to pass.... it aint lookin good folks! HH

Let me start out by saying that I have been a leaf fan for the better part of half a century.... I find it funny that the Sens, who are admittedly in a re-building year, are out classing the Leafs.... the Leafs have by far, the largest front office staff in the league. Those guys don't come cheap. The Leafs have been in the re-building process for at least the last four years. Let's look at the draft picks... Kadri didn't dress last night... the Sens number one guy did. The Leafs claimed Reimer to be the 2nd coming and nick named his "the Reiminister". Dude only played just over 40 NHL career games. There was a ton of concern about holding the all star game in Ottawa at the beginning of the season as EVERYONE thought they would be at the bottom of the league this year... and selling tickets would be a chore... well not any more! The Leafs fill the building every night, are valued at around .5 billion dollars yet are still hoping to make the playoffs, after a 7 year absense... So, all that said, I really can't blame Musky Mike for coming on here and stirring things up! It's really pretty easy! Which makes it even sadder, from my perspective! HH

Yup! Stayed at Horseshoe Island camp for a week, about 15 years ago... HH

Steve, there are very few guys that I know of, that put their boats throught the hell that you put yours through... for those who don't know Steve, he's that lone boat out on Quinte throughout December and January... heck, the man takes his vacation in December, solely to fish Quinte in December... cut from a much different cloth then most... I hope you get the answers here that you need Steve... sorry I can't help, but so far, it seems that you are on the right track. HH

Pickereye, bass and Pike... family stayed at Golden Eagle a few years ago... jig n worm outfished everything else we threw at them... HH

How many of us go into a bricks and motar store to check something out, only to go home and order it on-line for a small % of savings? In all honesty, I don't think that we consumers have anyone to blame, but ourselves for many of our purchasing wows... Stoty, your a bright guy, who certainly doesn't lack ambition.... you'll be fine. HH

I feel for yah brother! I had a herniated disc back in the mid 90's... it took just over two years before I was operated on by Dr. Michael Ford. The best advice I can give you will echo Big Cliff's... THE SQUEAKY WHEEL GETS THE GREASE!!!!!! HH

I've used the green ball method for years... some days it works incredibly well, some days, not a sniff... so go figure! HH

Yah, my thinking as well... I'm guessing that WSB simply felt like doing some trolling and knew that there would be many who would follow that bait through the water. HH

It's been my experience, that small Perch trigger the bigger one's to bite. Because of the competitive nature and the fight for food, I have found and verified this watching Perch on my buddy's camera. The small one's are aggresively chasing food, the larger one's will simply watch. The feeding frenzie created by the dinks, triggers the large one's to bite. I like to see small one's on Simcoe, it tells me, that biggin's aren't far away. HH

There is a lot more going on up there than what we read/hear on TV... it seems to me that it's pretty easy to dump on both sides, (gov and natives) based on what we hear see on the media... some where in the middle, will lie the truth. HH
