Let's just say that my next BBQ will be an egg... A couple of points: -his egg (my brother's)heats up faster than my Vermont Castings gas bbq... he uses an electric start and he's up and cooking in ten minutes... just re-lights left over char coal from his last use. -He's got an electronic temperature control unit that allows him to slow cook things like brisket over night... it's killer! -absolute temp control for grilling! (or anyting else... he can get it up to 800F!) -can use year round -excellent smoker as well! -doesn't burn much charcoal and there are equivalant charcoals available so you don't have to buy "Big Green Egg" coal My brother boughthis in the states, drove over at Pt. Huron and got it for about %500.00 less over there. I'm sold! HH

Well my brother has been using one for a few years now and it's the cat's rear end! What exactly would you like to know!? HH

Nothing says "listen to me" like a Marshall... RIP Doc, are you sure that you have a 4x10 cab? Normally, Marshalls come in 4x12 configurations for both the flat and angled stacks... HH

I haven't been able to watch an NFL game in years... 4 hours to play a one hour game!!! Put a stop watch on the actual time the ball is in play... then you can talk to me about boring! And for those who like to catch a bit of kip while watching sports.. two things come to mind. 1. Golf! Best tv sport to nap to! 2. Woman's curling! Babes yelling "hurry hard" does it every time! The NHL playoff picture is starting to clear... it's really too bad that we don't have very much of a Canadian presence this year... still hoping The Peg can find a way in.... that or dare I say, there are multiple plane crashes in the next week, that would put more Canadian teams into the game! HH

I was hoping that the "Peg" would do it, but it doesn't look good... so, as much as it hurts me, I am going to cheer on the Sabers... oh the pain! HH

I have a feeling that there are other circumstances that are effecting the Thames river Pickereye run and those issues happen with regularity just down river from London... HH

Fil brings up a good point about water clarity and it's affect on bass fishing... if you were to poll the guys fishing the Quinte Fishing Series (bass and Walleye tourny) I bet they would tell you that the bass fishing has improved substancially since the clearing of the water and that record bass are coming out of the bay. HH

In all honesty, I can't tell you whether there are more or less fish... but you are correct, the fish that are there are significantly deeper then they were when I started to fish Quinte in the late 80's early 90's. HH

I can only relate my experience fishing Quinte in the fall... since the arrival of the Zebra's, the fishing has become much more difficult as the number caught have dropped considerably. It was not unusual to catch a couple of dozen fish per outing... fast forward to today and that number would have you on TV! HH

Boy, there sure are a lot of people bashing this site in this thread... rightly or wrongly, I don't know or even care! What does astound me is that they are bashing while still wanting to contribute! If I was as annoyed as they seem to be, I would simply go find somewhere else to get my gitch in a knot over! HH

I noticed on CP24 this morning that they are talking about fining the folks from last week's rescue $100.00 each. I know that that amount doesn't come close to the actually cost of the rescues... but I'd like to know what the charge would be... ? HH
