I meant that foam can become waterlogged as the boat ages. This would be especially true for boats that are left unattended at docks for days at a time. If water is left in the boat for a few days it would get absorbed by the foam. That was the case for my boat. Even without water logged foam; I would not be surprised if a large 4 stroke motor and a few deep cycle batteries could defeat the flotation.

The foam can become waterlogged over time. I know that a small piece of foam from my old boat broke off in sank to the bottom of the bilge area. It wasn't too long after that that my boat sank. I have been told that the new foam is better. My old boat was a early nineties model. Also kept the boat at the dock so it was often full of water. It probably wouldn't be as much of an issue if the boat trailered when not in use.

I don't think that his comment was disrespectful to your career; it simply pointed out that knowing how to butcher a cow is different than knowing how to raise a cow.

By no means am I an anti GMO fanatic; but, my understanding of 'Roundup ready' crops was that they were more tolerant of Round Up which allowed farmers to use higher doses of Roundup on the crops. How does this lead to lower use of herbicides?

That is an ironic policy for a company founded by someone who only eats meat if he killed the animal himself. The sad part is that it most likely would have been one of her friends that reported it.

Conditions can change a lot faster than you can paddle a canoe from the nuke plant all the way to the Rouge River. With water temperatures around 40 degrees fahrenheit, tipping or getting swamped could easily become fatal. I hope that you are least keeping close to shore.

I was in a Princecraft. The ones I was talking to were in a Legend. I didn't get there until the afternoon.
