Chrysler buy back... Is Canada going to follow suit?
John Bacon replied to Gerritt's topic in General Discussion
"Under the agreement, Fiat Chrysler has to buy back the Ram trucks for the purchase price, minus depreciation." I am not sure how much the depreciation is; but it doesn't look like anybody will be getting their purchase price reimbursed. -
I caught a coho on a blue, white, and chrome cheater spoon today. My friend caught a rainbow on a green spoon. There were both in about 200' or water off of Pickering.
-
I caught a couple of Chinook out there this morning. Both of my fish were on a blue and pink spoon off of the rigger. First was down 60'; for the second the rigger was down 90' in 200' of water. These were caught straight out from Frenchmans Bay. It has been a tough year; hopefully things will pick up. The wind forcast for the next while is out of the west; that may help.

But if a creek or river is a border between two zones, which rules apply to the river? Are there different rules for each side of the river? What if you are physically on one side of the river but your bait is on the other side?

That was probably just ice cream I hope it nothing too serious. Unfortunatley, that does not sound like the case.

I think that missing the playoffs this year and next is part of the plan. You don't trade for draft picks so you can turn the team around in one year. Leafs also picked up a scout. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/07/20/maple-leafs-snag-top-red-wings-scout?ref=yfp

Shouldn't the father and son both be charged with obstruction of justice? The son should obviously have additional charges for the accident too.

Baptiste is nice. That would be closer to three hours from Richmond Hill though.

The 'Zoo' board was a completely different site. I think 1999 was the first year for this site; I found out about this site from a post on the Zoo board. It was at least that old; I actually won a trip to Lake Nippissing from this site in 1999. I think it was Thanks Giving weekend. I couldn't accept it because it was too close to my son's due date; he was born on Oct 26, 1999. Chris and Canadave did most of the posting back in the beginning.

Most people would just use the bill of sale for proof of ownership. You do get a title of you actually register your boat. However, very few people register their boats; most just license them.

Don't BlackBerry phones run all Android apps?
-
You may want to have a way of disconnectiong it if there is a short. Adding a plug to the boat may be better than removing it from the motor.

It doesn't go as far as Bluffers. The eastern boundry is around Victoria Park or the Harris water treatment plant. A harbour license is required for the Ashbridges Bay launch. I have one, so that is not a problem. It sounds like parking may be an issue on weekends. Thanks for the responses. I have new plans for tomorrow; but may try out there later this year.

You could try vertical rod holders at both the front and the back of the boat. These can be purchases or home made as other have posted. Having storage at both the front and back allows you to move the rods around depending on the type of fishing that you are doing. You can store them in bow when trolling or in stern when casting from the front of the boat.
-
Does anyone here regularily use the Ashbridges Bay boat launch? Is there usually parking available on the weekends? I am considering launching out of there tomorrow. I don't want to drive all the way down there and find out that there is no where to park. Also, do you know what is costs to park there? I have only ever used it in April when the parking is free.
-
Were they inflatables? If not, you don't need to wear them; just have them available.

If you go the fillet route, don't forget to leave the skin on. Otherwise, you can be charged. You need to wait until you are ready to consume the fish before removing the skin. A CO needs to be able to determine the quantity and species of fish that you are transporting.

Another move by the Leafs. Hopefully he will be able to help them a little. I don't think he will ever be a star. https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/maple-leafs-acquire-taylor-beck-predators-jamie-devane-232139560--nhl.html

Here are a few pictures from the fishing events hosted by TUFA - Toronto Urban Fishing Ambassadors. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153434228540480&set=gm.1028924737131736&type=1 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154063227662576&set=pcb.1028820557142154&type=1&permPage=1 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153433580595480&set=gm.1028782477145962&type=1 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153434228190480&set=pcb.1028924737131736&type=1&relevant_count=5 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153434228675480&set=pcb.1028924737131736&type=1&relevant_count=1

Interesting read. I would certainly never have thought of this. http://www.keepcanadafishing.com/coke-its-the-real-thing-to-stop-fish-bleeding/

In terms of the fishing guide. I don't see how a salmon would pick up any additional contaminants in the rivers since they don't feed. So as far as safe to eat, I would say they are just as safe or just as bad (two different perpestives) as fresh caught fish from the lake. I do suspect that they won't taste as good as a spring or summer fish from the lake.

Yes, it is strange how smokers (even ones who would never think of tossing other garbage on the ground) think it is accpetable to just toss their butts anywhere. I guess there may be a few exceptions. But I don't think that I have ever seen a smoker save a cigerette butt to be disposed of properly. They may use a garbage can or ash tray if it right there; otherwise they just toss it on the ground or into the water.
