I picked up the one in the top pick for ~$60 up at Central Outboard Marine. If you are not going to be in the GTA you may want to try your local Princecraft, Lund, or Polarcraft dealership. It doesn't sound like the Cabela's price was a bargain.

I would agree with most of the other posters hear that you were a little bit wrong, but they were way out of line.

Your local Princecraft or Lund dealer should have these posts or be able to order them. I just picked up one for my Princecraft from Central Outboard Marine in Markham. I didn't see any other on the shelf though.

Outdoors card and finishing license expiry ?
John Bacon replied to woodenboater's topic in General Discussion
I suspected as much. The new cards have a four digit year so it is more clear now. -
Outdoors card and finishing license expiry ?
John Bacon replied to woodenboater's topic in General Discussion
Does it have something to the effect of 'Expires Dec 31,' and the french equivalent in small print directly above the 14? I checked my card and it has the expiration date on both the front and back of the card. The new cards look a lot different than the old ones but I don't remember having any difficulty finding an expiry date on my older cards either. -

Isn't the expiry date printed right on the card? -
Are you talking 150 sq' of floor space or wall space? I think the wall space would be ~350 sq' based on your dimensions and assuming that you need all four walls done.

Nice fish. I was out earlier. I caught a couple of shakers off a cheater spoon.

Good question, but how do you tell salt water from fresh water by looking at a picture?
-
Is that water proof?

Thanks. I got a coho on green & black fly on a Spin Dr on Wednesday. I have been catching them deep too. I have caught a few on blue spoons.

Thanks for the report. What is ff?

That is starting to get to the point where you might as well just buy fish at the grocery store.

If you got the ticket in Sudbury then the trial would probably be in Sudbury. E.g. I am from Toronto. When I chose to fight a ticket that I received in Donwood (just outside of Peterborough) I had to go to Peterborough to fight the ticket. If you are lucky, the officer won't show and you get off scott free. If he does show, then you stand a good chance of getting an offer to plead to a lessor charge (e.g. 15 over instead of 30 over). They don't have time to hold a trial for everyone who fights the tickets. But, I would expect that you will need to make the trip to Sudbury rather than the officer making a trip to the Sault.

2 Asian carp found in ponds near Toronto waterfront
John Bacon replied to PUMP KNOWS's topic in General Discussion
They are 'capping' the highly contaminated sediment with clay to isolate the contaminents. Once this is complete they will create a marsh on top of the clay cap. This process has been completed for cell 1 and is expected to be completed for cell 2 in the next few years. This will eventually be done for cell 3 as well; but that is a long way off. As far a I know, the intent is to retain the access to these wetlands from the lake so that they can serve as spawning habitat for the fish. If it is land locked, it is probably just temporary while they complete the work. -

Are these ponds the so called cells? If so, they are connected to the lake. -

Weight of 14' aluminum with trailer
John Bacon replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
How much weight will be in the truck? The towing capacity for all weight being towed plus the cargo and passengers inside the truck. The boat, motor, & trailer will should be well under 1,500 pounds. But, if you have four large guys and their luggage in addition to the boat you will likely be over the limit. -
Chrysler buy back... Is Canada going to follow suit?
John Bacon replied to Gerritt's topic in General Discussion
"Under the agreement, Fiat Chrysler has to buy back the Ram trucks for the purchase price, minus depreciation." I am not sure how much the depreciation is; but it doesn't look like anybody will be getting their purchase price reimbursed. -
I caught a coho on a blue, white, and chrome cheater spoon today. My friend caught a rainbow on a green spoon. There were both in about 200' or water off of Pickering.

I caught a couple of Chinook out there this morning. Both of my fish were on a blue and pink spoon off of the rigger. First was down 60'; for the second the rigger was down 90' in 200' of water. These were caught straight out from Frenchmans Bay. It has been a tough year; hopefully things will pick up. The wind forcast for the next while is out of the west; that may help.

But if a creek or river is a border between two zones, which rules apply to the river? Are there different rules for each side of the river? What if you are physically on one side of the river but your bait is on the other side?
