I think it is still free if you don't share; you just don't get the information from other people if you don't share yours. But you should probably contact Lowrance or Radio World if you want to be 100% certain. From what I understand the new MotorGuides have much better control than the MinnKotas. The iPilot has one GPS receiver while the Xi5 has two GPS receivers (one in the base and one in the head) plus a compass.

There was a coupon available for $3.00 off adult admission. I think you have to purchase the tickets on-line and us 'familyfun' as the discount code. Here is a link: http://www.torontosportshow.ca/visitors/

I don't think that they should re-arrange the whole playoff qualification format because their may not be any Canadian teams in the playoffs this year. This year is an unusual even. We will be back to having Canadian teams in the payoffs soon enough.

I think it is a lot to ask for $400. That is not a high number for winter storage. There are a couple of ways that he can provide access to your boat. One would be to have a lot fewer boats in storage so that he could leave room to access and remove boats when requested by the owners. Fewer boats would mean less revenue. If he has to turn away potential customers (and the associated revenue) to maintain this level of service, then the customers that he does accept should expect to pay a premium price for this level of service. $400 for the season is not a premium price. The other way he could provide this service would be for him to be prepared to jockey boats around (assuming that he has available space) whenever a customer wants their boat. This would require a lot of work hours jockeying boats. If he was to do this, then his customers should expect to pay for these hours; either as part of the storage price, or when they request that their boat be removed from storage. If he had this built in to the price you would be paying a lot more than $400 for the season. In either case, if you want winter storage with the ability to remove the boat whenever you want, you should expect to pay more than $400. However, if he did tell you that you could get your boat in March, then you do have a valid complaint. I wouldn't expect him to remove everyboat in the building to get at mine first; but, I would expect him to be honest about when I can expect to be able to pick up the boat. If he had been upfront, then perhaps you could have arranged for your boat to be put in last so it would be the first one out. Although, this may have meant not putting it into storage as soon as you wanted to; or, pay a premium for moving your boat out of the way everytime he added a new boat. p.s. If you don't know where the boat is then he may be outsourcing this have be at the mercy of someone else. Depending on where it is located he may also have to wait for the ground to dry out before he can begin removing boats.

The Atlantics will get the same access to the Ganny as the bows, cohos, Chinooks, and migratory browns. They all get through the fishway, none of them get past any other dams on the river.

I think the business owner would expect to be paid for that one day of labour and overhead before sorting through all of the boats. And they may want to use a person with proper safety training, etc. for the fork life; not some random teenager willing to work for a low wage. The owner should have been more clear up front. But I think that first in, last out, is reasonable.

Suggestions for a 2 bank charger (will not be on-board)
John Bacon replied to Raycaster's topic in General Discussion
I agree. My lawn mower has had two 12 volt batteries connected in series for the last 10 years or so. I been been charging them one at a time with a 12 volt charger for most of those years and they still work. -
I don't have any problem with you throwing LeHav strain eggs because they are pretty useless anyway. I wouldn't recommend throwing Sebago eggs though; that would be wasteful.

The pressure washer cleans up the carpet pretty well in my boat. But I have vinyl floors and only have carpet on the ledges, etc. I am not sure how well it would do with the ground in dirt that you would get with a carpet floor.

Specific spot on Sturgeon Lake (any fish )
John Bacon replied to Tjames09's topic in General Discussion
Does the lake even have pike? -
I was speaking to one the guys at LeBaron's. He said that the side imaging may not work on all boats because you cannot always get a clear path on both sides of the boat.

Is that a 'white bucket' list? On another note. Was there any explanation about how they were accidently stocked into a lake? I am involved in stocking myself. That seems like a pretty big mistake. It would be interesting to hear how that happened. E.g. did they take the wrong fish out of the hatchery when they were supposed to be stocking regular brookies; or, perhaps a driver got his directions mixed up and stocked a different lake. Regardless, it worked out well for you.

If $180 is too much, then you could settle for their $120 line precision cutter.

I wonder how well this works. Anybody want to be the first to try? http://www.tautensports.com/

The thing to keep in mind is that the 18% is of total Canadian adults represents far more than 18% of Trudeau's supporters. If the 18% of adults who had smoked marijuana in the last year had voted for Trudeau, that would represent about 67% of his voters. Approximately 68% of eligiable voters cast a ballot in the election. Of those, about 39.5% voted Liberal. So, about 27% of Canadian adults voted Liberal (39.5% of 68% = 26.9%) in the election. If 100% of pot smoking adults voted Liberal that would represent (18%/27%=67%) of his votes. I agree that it is unlikely that they all voted Liberal; it is unlikely that they all voted period. But even if half of them voted Liberal, that would be a full third of the votes that he received. It is pretty save to say that at least one third of his supporter were marijauna users. However, there is really no way to calculate how many of them actually based their decision to vote Liberal based on his promise to legalize marijauna. If one quarter of those 18% voted Liberal because of his promise, that would represent 6.6% of the voters which would drop his support from 39.5% to 32.9%. If the Conservatives picked up 50% of those votes then the Conservatives would have won in the popular vote 35.2% to 32.9% which would have resulted in a Conservative minority. This is all speculation, but I think that promise may have swayed the results. He may have also picked up support from non-users who support legalization. There are some of those; myself included.

It might be higher than that. I don't think that anybody really has a precise figure for what percentage of the population is gay. I think most surveys have shown that they make up less than 5% of the population. But surveys are not very reliable. I think the 3% figure is accurate; but I could be wrong.
-
Considering that gays probably make up about 3% of the population, I don't think that they would have formed a large portion of her support. Even if they all voted for her, they would still only be a minor factor.

You're right that they have always give away there draft choices. But now they are acquiring draft choices instead of giving them away. This is the first time in at least 40 years that the Leafs have tried to rebuild by acquiring draft choices. Trading away their draft choices for the past forty or so years has not produced good results. Maybe acquiring draft choices will. It won't be this year; but they may eventually have a good team with the draft choices that they acquire. If they continued on the old way then they might make the playoffs once in a while; but they would never go deep into the playoffs. I am willing to wait a few years knowing that there is at least a chance (no guarantee) that they may actually have a really good team when their talent develops.

There is a math error in your source data. $29 billion in 82/83 dollars does not translate into $28.88 billion in 2011 dollars. This adds ~$40 to Trudeau's final term (by averaging the conversion rates for the years before and after I estimate that the 2011 equivalent is $70.38 billion for 82/83). I also think there are issues with the allocation of the deficits. Here is a quote from the site: "Select a prime minister's name to highlight figures from his time in office. John Turner and Kim Campbell each served for less than one fiscal year; data for their tenures is included as part of their predecessors' terms." Joe Clark was also Prime for less than a fiscal year and did not pass a budget. The deficit that has been assigned to him should be assigned to Trudeau. I also think they have misallocated deficits for years in which a Prime Minister started in the middle of a fical year. They have assigned the deficits to the incoming Prime Minister; in my opinion it should be assigned to the outgoing Prime Minister because that's who would have passed the budget for the year. Based on this logic $77.88 billion of Mulroney's dept should be assigned to Trudeau; and $56.60 billion of Chretien's debt should be assigned to Mulroney. The revised figures would be: Trudeau: $415.38 billion Mulroney: $443.52 billion Chretein: $51.38 billion At first glance Mulroney looks pretty bad; but if interest on inherited debt was removed, I think he would look much better than Trudeau.

I think that a very key point here is that McGuinty/Wynne ran up more debt for just Ontario than Harper did for the entire country. And they did that with higher taxes and higher transfer payments from the federal government. Harper ran up debt, but he did it with lower taxes and without cutting transfers to the province (Chretien cut federal health and social transfers by 34%).

No, it is not the "same old song". This is the first time in over forty years that they have tried to rebuild with draft picks. The "same old song" would be trading away their draft picks for questionable talent. This is what should have been done in 2006. I think the management is good, but it is going to take a while to undo years of bad management by their predecessors. Being the richest team doesn't mean much when there is a salary cap. The days of being able to buy a good team ended in 2004. It took the Leafs 10 years to adapt to the new reality.

The deadline was 3:00pm today. They are not looking for player for today. They are looking for player for five or so years from now. Trying to get a player that will help them today will probably to detrimental to their success five years from now when they may actually have a chance to make a deep run into the playoffs.

A question about measuring wave height.
John Bacon replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
My Google search seems to support the trough to crest. Appearently they generally about half the height that most people would estimate. http://www.boatingmag.com/how-to/measuring-wave-height
