Most of these cards can be used in any store. E.g. Cdn Tire Options and Gas Advantage are MasterCards and can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. This seems to be the trend with most store cards now. You usually get some better benefits when used at the 'host' store; but almost any card can be used at almost any store. I agree that you don't want to get too carried away with all of the different reward cards. It is usually better to pick one or two that you like best and stick to them.

I remember seeing a building on the QEW, I don't think it is there anymore. I am not sure if it was one business or two; but the sign read: "Antiques Factory Outlet". I alwasy wanted to get a picture; but stopping on the QEW isn't the best idea.

So they are not actually breaking then; just releasing the rod? So, I will probably be fine running dipseys which is my main use for the Salties.

Thanks for all your feedback. I do plan to eventually get some Orcas; but I have an opportunity to pick up some Rocket Launchers with adapters that can be mounted to a track. Based on the feed back, they may be more useful to store the rods that are not in use when I am trolling. I am also looking at Bert's or Cannon dual axis rod holders. I hope that nobody has had problems with them. I know that the Berts seem to be a favourite among Salmon fisherman. The Cannons are similar.

When was the last time you were at a movie theatre? Those small screen multiplexes have since been replaced by larger screens with better seating, etc.

Definitely, I got a free MotorGuide Xi5 on credit card points earlier this year... DriversEdge, not Cdn Tire. Actually I ended up with the motor plus about $500 in cash.
-
That is scary. Were those the double clamp; or the single clamp model? I may have to start tethering my rods.

I was wondering if anyone has experience using the Scotty Rocket Launcher rod holders for salmon trolling. I have a chance to pick a few second hands ones up. Are they strong enough for dipseys and other salmon applications? Any problems getting the rods out of the holder under load? They don't look like they have any kind of release mechanism.

It's costing us. Millions of dollars have been spent over a few hundred thousand dollars. -

They have cost us a lot more than that when everything is factored in. The latest auditors report shows that they over paid for green energy by $9.2 billion. http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/ontario-premier-happy-to-defend-green-power-program-despite-9-2-billion-in-extra-costs?ref=yfp -
Better late than never... Hopefully they can bring McGuinty and Wynne down with them. http://www.cp24.com/news/opp-charge-two-former-mcguinty-staffers-in-connection-with-gas-plants-scandal-1.2704173

I think you would need to legalize, rather than just decriminalize it, it in order to tax it. I don't think that they will be able to "tax the hell out of it". If there is too much then people will just grow their own or buy from an illegal source. They should be able to take in a modest tax and still sell some.

Strip search and a happy ending?

The plan is to allow vehicles with a single occupant use the current HOV lanes if they pay for the privilege. You will still be able to use the 403 for free if you avoid the HOV lanes or have multiple occupants. Drivers of single occupant vehicles gain the option of paying to use the HOV lanes (I am not sure how they are going to enforce that). The ones that don't want to pay are not worse off then they are now. Drivers who carpool may be a little worse off because they will have to share the HOV lanes with more drivers.

In Toronto there is a by-law against photographing or filming anyone in parks. I am not sure if that has been tested in court. There may be laws in other places too.

If like him you can donate $250 to his party he will send you an exclusive cookie cutter in his image. I got an email about that offer not too long ago. http://en.cijnews.com/?p=16140

Cold air, cold water, how will the toon bladders hold up
John Bacon replied to misfish's topic in General Discussion
Make sure you ensure that the air pressure is topped up after the pontoons have had a chance to cool off. Brittleness of the material may be an issue in extreme cold too. -

Meadowvale does not go al the way to Steeles. There is a 4 way stop at Meadowvale and Old Finch. If you make a left there you can take Reesor Rd or Sewels Rd up to Steeles. -

That's what my wife does. Same logic too. She no longer has to pay to park; so she users her parking money for the 407. -

401 to 404 won't be too bad in the morning. But, I wouldn't to have to try to get from 404 south to 401 east in the afternoon rush hour. Taking 14th Avenue east part of the way to avoid the 404/401 intersection is an option. -
Wouldn't they get the same tax benefits that anyone else gets when they donate to charity? I.e. income taxes would be reduced by a portion of what you donate. The taxible benefit for charitable donations will always be less than the donation itself.

If they increase the price you will. But reduced hassel is the main benefit.
