  4. Gonna start getting interesting along the Grand - Conestoga Dam is basically at max now according to the GRCA website and waterflows are at low level flood stage pretty well the whole length of the river.

  9. A couple friends of mine (who are OFC members) volunteer with this very worthy association, stocking Lake Huron's water with sport fish. If you happen to recognise these clowns, please make the call On April 15th 2017 at approximately 8:00 pm, unknown suspects walking a black dog attended the fish food dispensary in the Hatchery at the Bluewater Anglers Club located at the Waterfront Park. Surveillance footage shows a male approximately 30 years old wearing a black and white checkered jacket and light colored baseball cap. He attempted to purchase fish food. The dispenser didn’t work so he took upon himself to damage another dispenser thus steeling food. He then stole approximately 30-40 dollars in quarters. The footage shows a thin female with long black hair tied in back wearing a black t-shirt and dark sweater. The adult female is seen taking pictures with her cell phone of the adult male stealing the money. Also in the footage, it shows what appears to be 2 female teenagers who assisted in stealing the change. Please call 1-800-222-TIPS with any information you may have about this crime! http://www.sarnialambtoncrimestoppers.org/18381/theft-at-bluewater-anglers-club-in-pt-edward/

  13. That is CLASSIC, My wife was laughing herself silly every time R gave the shake..
  14. nice way to start the season!. Reminds me of G at that age. Now he's a teen he's still into the fishing, but those 4 am drives are a lot quieter.
  15. " Hey Guys - was out fishing yesterday, turned around and the bracket for the power head on my Fishhawk lost one of the side clips that holds it in place. Is is possible to order another one? What do you need to get the right model ? Thanks" "Hi Rick, just send us your address and we'll mail one out to you." Thank you, Trevor This is actually the second time I have ha d a similar experience with these guys. 3 years ago I had a Fishhhawk TD that wasn't functioning properly. I emailed them and asked about it. They sent me a new one, no questions asked. Now, if I can just get that skunk out of the boat.
  16. Thanks Doug - it did dissolve on the tongue, I will admit. That being said, I wish I could say venison was my lunch bag let down. I have far too many that are far less tasty
  17. Its a long weekend. Time to cash in on the sales and celebrate with the family oven roasted new taters in olive oil and rosemary; oven roasted green beans in olive oil, garlic and onion and well, the meat speaks for itself Happy Easter all - however you recognise it time with family is the best time of all
  18. Spectacular shot of the water - love those peaceful summer days. Rolloff is so well behave. My last dog wanted to release everything in the last 2 foot of water. Eventually had to leave her behind - just too much commotion
  19. LOL. The fact is Simon - we just hate you. Anyone who lives that close to perfect fishing and is already nailing a fresh walleye feed from the boat, well I mean what can you say that won't sound petty or jealous? Next you're gonna rub salt in the wounds with a big ice out pike and turn your nose up - hrmmpf, jackfish I need to get back up there. May try for a run this summer is everything works out
  20. whole lake. Makes for a lot of hook work before, and after
  21. love the way you set up the cam to get yourself coming at it from the distance. Not sure where you find the time to put these all together and then upload with dial up? click upload, leave for work and come home as "select your thumbnail" message appears? I was surprised you have grass already? as far as your fishing opportunities and location, meh, who would want that? a lake at your door? some of the finest fishing in Ontario a quick quad ride away - nah, your welcome to it.
  22. probably take the better portion of 4 days to a week for things to settle down that end of the river. Current river temps at York (upstream of Caledonia) are still below 10 degrees. The Dunnville levels are just below low level floods - in 1 - 2 days when it'll peak. They are currently using dams to minimise flooding, so expect some release of the excess water after that to keep the river higher for an extended period compared to the actual rainfall days. The GRCA site has a bunch of info on water temps, flows and conditions if you're into watching the riva flow.
  23. any time you boat one on the fist outing of the year, in the first week of April is a bonus - guess I decided to pull up just a little bit too soon? - saw you heading out to PD direction, and we ended our day there. Saw a ton of hooks on the screen but nothing was moving. you must got that right on his schnozola. Sounds like it was your lucky spoon again?
