  1. Yep.. could be a whole new meaning to a toilet backing up!!
  2. Sorry... but I'm sure Crimestoppers has bigger fish to fry!
  3. Sorry to hear this Paul and know the gut wrench well. The good of it is she's now in a better place than living the evil hell of dimentia. Reflect on the days pre Christmas last year and find some smiles in there. I'm sure, as you give it some thought, it'll be easy to find more than a few!
  4. Can only assume that's sitting on bottom or it would be the rest of the way down. Rain and dead batteries I bet.. or his prop shaft seals went.
  5. Nice new Ride Lew! You sure that ain't black? As Bill notes.... let us know your thoughts after you put some miles on it. I had a cop at a ride check call me a c... s..... after looking at my (5.0 litre coyotes) fuel consumption read out showing 11.8 or so litres/100km. Told me his "ecobust" was burning 18litres/100km. Hope he was just an odd duck and hope that 6 has the guts to pull your heavy boat. Gerry.. you have the Ecoboost or the 5.0 in yours???
  6. Doing water sampling..
  7. YES..
  8. Doesn't fit the chemo schedule at this point.. but it might work if she decides the week following that she wants to be home in her apartment for the weekend. I've got the date marked.. we'll see what happens.
  9. Looks like a great couple days on the water to me lads!!
  10. Can someone stand beside you and hold a wide "coal" shovel under to catch everything? How do you put it back together in the spring? Water is warmer now than it is then....
  11. Hey Skip... I think the water went bad in your aquarium !!! A day out is better than a day in the shop!!!
  12. HEY... your boots don't match!
  13. Yah.. Bert talks too much, the 185 is still in the woods as of yesterday!
  14. Thanks Brian.. John and Bert. Jen clearing hurdles is what keeps us going these days!
  15. Great stuff Kevin.. sure beat what I was doing today! What's the length on that pike????
  16. Have fun Dave! Looks like a windy week with a few peeks of sunshine. Don't forget the Scotch...
  17. 30K out of the West... LOTS of water to fish in there in that, especially considering you're launching in sheltered and not crossing the main Sound.
  18. Well it is.. and it isn't. It dropped almost 2 feet in the last month from where it was. That said, when my wife was about 6 years old they had over 200 feet of front lawn on Sturgeon Bay in the early 70's. When I first went there in 1981 they had about 70 feet of front lawn. It's ALMOST back to where it was this year.. some 31 years later.
  19. I thought that maybe you had a real problem....
  20. Pretty much... just prefer when they come in one at a time, so that I can do the maintenance and then put them in their winter blocking spots one at a time. Everyone saw the sun on Tuesday and did a panic flight direct to here. One even paid for a taxi ride back to Toronto to do so.
  21. Thanks guys.. we're home again with our "couch potato". A week of fever watch no doubt, fighting her to eat and keeping her healthy. Then hopefully a full week of her feeling good to regain the strength to do it all again.
  22. Thanks lgf!
  23. Hmmm. If I left now, lol ! Came back last night to all my customers aircraft parked on the driveway in front of the hangar door... so I guess I'm out! Have fun Brian, someone will jump on it.
  24. Nah... she was just hiding in the corner of the window and snuck in when you opened it to take that picture! Getting cold out there you know... now you have a house guest for the winter (along with her 300 babies)!
  25. Fishing for smallies with SEVEN inch minnows!! A great fish to say the least!!
