  1. A magnificant fish, no matter the length. Based on my 4 finger width.. it's a 56" fish.
  2. Out of the East... brings out the Beast !
  3. If you had of Xpress Posted the reel to them today... it would have been in their hands Monday and probably back to you before next weekend... That said... you can probably just buy two bearings cheaper than the postage. BTW.. if they are in with loctite, just steal your wife's hair dryer and warm them up a tad before tapping the bearings out.
  4. Knew when we saw Eileen at the Deerhurst in the early 90's that she'd, some day, go far.. Mutt man.. what were you thinking? <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/bArEOInpCBc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  5. Some 40 year old priceless Neil ... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Eh44QPT1mPE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  6. Seems appropriate around here lately! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/IK-nVzp5NbE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  7. Man that looks huge.. back away from the camera Mike! Seriously... good to see you out and about. Doesn't your employer know why you're calling in sick!
  8. You're not allowed to have dental surgery or even cleanings while doing chemo... at least what we were told during the first round. (and she did see a dentist for a check on this and xrays on Monday) How you making out bigbuck?
  9. Thanks folks! The tooth infection came back about 8 hours after taking her last Amoxicillian on Saturday, while Leah and I were up in the CN tower having a 60th Birthday party for my older sister. So with her Oncol gone to Czechoslovakia... and my buddy/Dr gone to Holland for Remembrance day celebrations, we had to take her into Emerg on Sunday night for an incision/ drain and more drugs. Hoping like hell that the infection goes away before her white cell count bottoms, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. Bad feeling we'll have her back in hospital before the weeks out.
  10. Glad you never had any old cars I wanted to buy from you BB. You'd do yourself (and what's riding in your boat) a world of favour if you let those leaf springs rest and re arch themselves each off season. The only accident that's going to happen slapping the axle stands under the frame is you can't get your ass back up standing straight again!
  11. Definitely... give those springs a break and keep your tires round (and sidewalls damage free). At least 32 days away for mine though....
  12. Living life to the fullest there Mike... GOOD for you!! Great shots of an amazing trip!
  13. Great stuff Rick! Nice blue boat at the end....
  14. I had been pm'g back and forth with Roger for the last year+, and am so sorry to hear that Chris has lost her brave fight. All the best to Roger and his family at this tough time.
  15. Yah.. I still have two cars with lefty loosey and righty loosey on the same car! Generally they get snapped off by the first door knob without chrysler knowledge slinging an impact gun!
  16. Through day 2 of chemo this week, with 3 more days to go for this round. Today almost didn't happen with Jen discovering she had an infected tooth last night. Reported it this morning before starting chemo...which then stopped the train in it's tracks, while they tried to find her Oncologist. He doesn't usually come into Mt Sinai until after 1pm on Tuesdays as he has clinic at another local hospital in the morning. He showed at 11am to inspect, write a script for a type of " 'cillan".. can't remember which one.. and give the green light to continue chemo and stay on schedule while I ran to fill the antibiotic script. Yesterday he found himself amazed once again... and can't feel any sign of the tumour anymore. Ordered an MRI before next visit to see how close we're getting to returning it to the bone so it can be removed to clear margins.
  17. Yah.. I've been around for a bit! Truck came out of the GM dealer on Friday after 4 grand in service.. this was Sunday afternoon! Lug nuts have been an issue since the days of guys trying to run Ford rims on Dodges in the 70's.. and the oversized pilot. That is the main issue with many custom alum wheels.. the center pilot is made too large so it can be a "multi-product" fit.
  18. Not sure how fast you'll hear back from him... he's out on the water doing a charter today... but then again it's tooooo dammmmn early to be thinking about ice fishing anyhow!!
  19. Send Lloyd (Fishhunter) a PM Gerritt... he'll hook you up with I believe it's Dave. One of the charter guys does ice huts in the winter as well.
  20. Geez Terry... we could have went public.. some bugger from Kinmount didn't like us fishing their lake and loosened my lug nuts.. damn near killed us by Coboconk !! There is no way in hell that the mechanic could make that conclusion if the wheel fell off! As noted.. he was probably the original installer. One piece of crud behind the wheel at torquing and you can still get this... We limped home on the three remaining studs after gingerly tightening them up. Two out of those three broke when the GM dealer went to remove the wheel
  21. Just last week you weren't worried about what fuel was gonna cost you for that new truck Lew? Let us know how the trip to LSC went... with the Ecoboost running rich for the first 5k or so to break it in. Those extra litres/100km, not being burned, could have offset that price rise! Seriously, I want to know your fuel mileage.
  22. Hope that's the only time he's nailed her to the wall ! Keep'm coming Chris... nothing like trips down memory lane!
