My buddy brought one up to nipissing a month ago. He said it was the secret weapon. lol. After dropping it down the hole 10 minutes later he caught the biggest Perch of the weekend. Coincidence? Maybe, but he was pretty pumped.

I was there yesterday and I agree that there wasn't too many deals to be had but there was a lot of fishing knowledge to be had if you were willing to chat with many of the great fishing minds that were there.

I had a message left on my home answering machine today from a man claiming that he worked for the CRA and that i needed to call him back asap because there was a civil lawsuit filed against me. This was clearly a fake call. Just wanted to pass this info on so people can get the word out so vulnerable people will not get taken by this scam. I'm sure if i were to call him back he would be asking me for personal information. Here is the audio from the message left on my machine.

Be careful out there guys. A Quad went through the ice this morning about 100 yards off shore on cooks bay. I'm hearing the driver is safe. With the recent snow covering the ice it will be difficult to spot the sketchy ice.

I trap minnows occasionally at a local trib. I always use bread. I find that putting your minnow trap in a shallow area with little to no current works best. Also try and find a spot that has some natural cover.

I use a Polomar knot all the time. Simplest and strongest knot IMO.

I think I'm a little bit younger than yourself but the word "blumpkin" has a totally different meaning to me. LMAO

Are you planning on using these minnows to fish with? If so, if you use them in a different body of water I am under the assumption this is illegal. Am I right?

Eagles fan here but I do like to see the Bills do well. The Bills should have a good season this year. Only question mark is at QB. If shady can stay healthy they should be alright. Their defense will be one of the best this year. Similar scenario in Philly this year. Bradford needs to stay healthy for them to have a big season. I think Jordan Matthews will have a breakout season. Regular season starts a week from today and I'm pumped.

Spent some time fishing southern Georgian Bay last week with my bro and some buddies. We typically target Bass and Pike but catch the odd Musky accidentally. We had a blast fishing and tubing with some late night bevy's mixed in.

I caught this Pike on the weekend out of Georgian Bay. It had a neon tongue and a little around the mouth.
