We are overdue for a meteoroid or an asteroid hit, and the earth is overdue for a magnetic field flip, There are too many nuclear weapons in the hands of monkeys, the next world war can start any time now, And what if Russia invades from the North ? I think I will head south........................waaaaay south OMG .....what if the sky falls ?

Sounds like its burning fine, Spark plugs have crush washers and should be tightened properly, if you can't do it by the "feel" its a good idea to invest in a torque wrench, keeps the guess work out and always handy to have one around.

Has she got her heart set on destroying this province?
NANUK replied to Big Cliff's topic in General Discussion
Not saying it's right or wrong, just stating what they had and what it is now, just so you understand what the issues is in current negotiations when they say teachers are fighting to get their sick days back. It you read my first post again, I used the past tense. -

100% sure, at least that WAS the case with the largest school board ( TDSB ), not sure about other cities. And contrary to popular belief and what the media failed to mention, They were not allowed to cash out their banked sick days any time they wanted, Only at the time of retirement they could get paid a Maximum of 120 days, provided they had 240 days in the bank and 25 years in service, any thing less was pro rated. In other words, 6 months pay as gratuity after 25 years of service. That was the deal before McGuinty govt changed it to no more accumulation of sick days, and took all their existing accumulated sick days away, McGuinty changed it to 10 (non accumulative) sick days (100% pay) + 5 days miscellaneous leave ( funeral of immediate family member, moving, attending graduation, religious holidays etc) per year After those 10 days they now get 90% pay till LTD kicks in (after 120 days) -

Teachers and other staff were allowed to accumulate their sick days because they never had short term disability insurance, And long term disability doesn't kick in for 120 days, So they needed at least 6 months worth in the bank in case of longer illness or major surgery etc -
Problem with neoprene gloves is they don't breath,

Exactly !! I respect a well informed and educated opinion, whether I agree with it or not. A negative argument based on pure hate and whatever hidden agenda is like internet pollution to me. -
And very civil and well informed.

OR Why would Harper want to be seen associating with Ford ? Has he been smoking crack too ?

The government has your best interest at heart , They are here to provide you the best "service" I was totally confused when I hear the word 'Service' used with these agencies: Internal Revenue 'Service' Postal 'Service' Telephone'Service' Hydro service, Cable TV 'Service' Civil 'Service' Federal 'Service' Provencial 'Service' City 'Service' Public 'Service' Customer 'Service' This is NOT what I thought 'Service' meant. But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'Service' a few cows. BAM!!! It all came into focus... Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us... You are now as enlightened as I am

Newer accudepths are good reels, I service my own reels and the newer (grey) accudepths are build identical to salines minus the bearings, I wouldn't recommend them for every day Lake Ontario kings but for a weekend warrior they are good, Excellent for walleye. Old black & gold accudepths were junk.

" old vetrans are about gone now and the new one are computer savy, so it's ok " Really ?? So all these crazy vetrans must be upset about nothing. Try showing your physical and mental scars "on line"

VW has set aside approx 10 billion dollars the deal with this issue, and that is just the start !! Over 30% plunge in stocks already, This doesn't sound like business as usual to me, This is bigger than anything auto industry has ever seen. This is not a mistake or an oversight, a faulty part or defect in workmanship, it was deliberately done to cheat environmental laws and regulations. I know $10B buys a lot of lawyers but class action lawsuits and Govt penalties are going to get very ugly for VW, -
In the truck: I keep a 18" long 2x12 piece of wood, for placing under the jack on a soft shoulder of road ( a wheel jack is not much good if it is not on a solid flat surface) grease gun spare trailer bearings, cutter pins A brass drift Disposable vinyl gloves spare bulbs for the trailer, spare 4 pin connector 4 pin tester come along recovery strap 75' of good rope In the boat: A well stocked tool box, including battery and continuity testers. various size fuses, wires, zip ties etc Jumper cables First aid kit, Spare prop spare spark plugs, spare bilge plug Matches, fire starter etc in a waterproof container, A waterproof bag with some extra warm clothing AND a roll of toilet paper (very important ) A ton of other "just in case" items including a small axe A pair of heavy duty work leather gloves, in case I have to handle downrigger cable. And off course all the required safety equipment.

Harper lost my support when he cut back on vetran's affairs, Any one who treat their Heros like that is a slime ball in my books, Shame on Harper and Julian Fantino !! A politician gets life time pension after 2 terms in the office,

My next aluminum fishing boat will have no wood and no carpet. Without getting in to chevy vs ford debate, Regardless of size, all boats have their limitations, rivets will leak and welds will crack if you beat the crap out of it, same goes for the motor and trailer, Take care of your equipment, drive according to conditions and it will last a long time.

Nobody is stopping those "others" to claim the land. You have to exist to claim anything
-
And then there are those "generous" buyers who are very busy or out of the country to show up in person, They are willing to pay you the asking price or more $$ if you send them your banking info or PayPal details

Had 2 sets of Michelin LTX M&S tires on my truck, reasonably good performing tires in all conditions,(all wheel drive vehicle) First set came with the new truck, within 2 years started developing cracks on side walls and in between the treads, maybe a bad batch ? Tire dealer spoke to Michelin rep and was told it was normal wear & tear and acceptable Since I was happy with the performance, I replaced them with same, thinking the new production should be better(stupid mistake) Exactly the same problem in 2 years. I am done with Michelin I now have Hankook Dynapro ATM on my truck, they are less than a year old, so far so good but it is too early to tell how they will hold up in future.

I prefer medium for a wire diver, I like the flex in medium rod since wire has no stretch, Talora roller rod with a swivel tip is an awesome rod and can handle any size diver. Daiwa Heartland wireline rods with roller guides and a swivel tip are another good choice, if you can find one. I prefer them over Taloras.

Sounds like a typical lazy agent, its a common strategy with a lot of real estate agents, Just list it on MLS at a bargain price and hope to sell for a fast / easy commission, if it sells for over asking they look like a star (mostly in big city). She doesn't know the obvious differences between your place and the one she is comparing with, how can she be a good salesperson for your property ? You are on the right track by asking all those important questions before signing a contract, You will find some one who deserves your business.
