Is motor's cavitation plate level with the bottom of hull ?

Sounds about right for that setup as far top end speed, are having any other issues like hole shot or Getting on plane ?

Finally get the time to have a good read as a report like this deserves, Reading a fishing report is one thing, Only a few reports actually "take you there", Your reports always do, This one takes the top spot. Very well done !! Impressive numbers and sizes, those guided by you were the luckiest in the camp. Some of the scenery pictures bring back memories from 1995. A trip of a lifetime for sure.

I like Keen with toe protection for rough terrain, Ecco makes some of most comfortable and durable sandles IMO .

Most likely its 12v DC, voltage and AH (Amp Hour) rating should be specified on the battery, some of them will even say the charge rate. As for the charging, Most of those batteries are around 7 to 12 AH (Amp Hour), Yours is most likely a 7.2 AH, Recommended charge rate for those batteries is 30 to 40% of their AH rating, Personally I don't go above 30%, An automatic charger @ 2 Amp setting should be good, nothing wrong with those 1 Amp chargers either, it will just take longer.

My wife's new vehicle didn't require any new holes drilled by Krown, There are enough access / holes in the newer vehicles. To say that Rust check and Krown dealers are too lazy to use the existing holes is Bull imo, what takes more time ? to drill new holes and then plug them or just use the existing holes ? On my pickup truck they even take the tail lights off to access certain areas, On the tail gate they weren't happy with reaching all the corners so they just drilled one hole. My truck is over 10 years old, I only take it for Krown rustproofing every other year now, still not a single spot of rust on it. You cant argue with 20 + years of personal experience with a product.

Most rust start from inside out on painted panels & doors, spraying the paint outside is not going to help much.

I have been using Krown for the last 20 years, none of my vehicles have a spot of rust. They do drill some holes necessary to apply the product, but only what is required and cover them with plastic plugs. It does drip for a couple of days, but thats why it works so well by creeping in all the small cracks and crevices, One thing I noticed with Krown, it all depends on the franchise, most are really good and spray what and where it is needed and just the right amount, I know at least one in T.O area where they over spray on the parts where it does more bad than good. Overall, it is a very good product and it works really well. It is a good idea to spray your vehicle if it has started to show any sign of rust and you are planning to keep it for a long time, Krown will slow down or stop the process.

Panther marine has a few options for what you need, even a wireless model, nothing cheap when it come to power tilt & trim. only you can decide what that feature is worth to you.

Shooting the breeze with buddies, or just clearing the heavy fog from your heart while trolling some of the most scenic shorelines, And a decent fish to kick the stink as a bonus. Every outing doesn't have to be a competing tournament about catching numbers or monsters. I say, WTG ! Nice fish!

I don't do much shore fishing but wouldn't mind giving a try when the weather is not good for boating. You are more than welcome in my boat for a salmon troll out of Bluffers next season. I am in Scarborough

Gotta agree with above, The Daiwa Whisker is still my favorite spinning reel when it comes to casting, And I have reels costing more than 3 times
