  1. the motor IS japanese. it's 500 bucks, if it runs, stops, what more can you ask for?
  2. u-haul i found has the best prices. a class II should be sufficient.
  3. that would be saint john.
  4. try stuffing a brita in a backpack TJ! the key here is light weight, take up little space and portability.
  5. Ditto on the MSR filters. I've had two different models over the years and tehy work great. Never been sick. I don't use any secondary treatment, just pump and drink.
  6. I wouldn't do it unless I had to and if I had to I'd use the 5spd.
  7. Ok there's far too much positivity in this thread.. (but they are all valid and good points, Honda makes a quality vehicle) So I am just going to throw the only few negatives I can think of. the motors are torqueless, gutless little hamster wheels they are popular with thieves there are far too many on the road. I've owned 3 high mileage honda products (accord, civic and acura integra) in my life and they all need a turbocharger. LOL. no, they never broke down and were very reliable.
  8. What does that have to do with combos priced under $75??
  9. If only they were all like the Port Perry and Assbridges Bay launches. The former is a great form of entertainment too!
  10. I dont normally do this but in this case I think good service and a great price deserve to be mentioned. Dave got me a great deal on a new camera (Panasonic DMC FZ7). He got it in for me eventhough (I assume) he doesn't carry the brand and answered all my questions. A pleasure to talk 'fishn' with as well.
  11. yes, walleye fisherman catch the biggest skis. what a brute!! i am not sure if this is the same fish or not, but there was another biggun caught in the same area a couple of years ago in the spring. i think it was posted on andy's site.
  12. consider using www.imageshack.us . I've had better luck with it than photobucket.. and they don't block it at work for me. Wayne, I thought you're going to the shop so you can go boating in the summer.
  13. Sounds good to me.. longer ice with less crowds when the huts have to come off.
  14. dont forget your plastics tony!
  15. I heart driving by there every single time Wayne. Everyone else in the vehicle, no matter how many times they've gone by will turn their neck westwards.
  16. Davis, best wishes from here as well. I did get to party with Lemmy (Motorhead) and met many other lesser known metal and punk acts. Dinner with former World Series MVP (and Blue Jay) Pat Borders! LOL.
  17. Use a large, pen-style net. This type of net allows you to keep the fish in the water, reducing harm to you and the fish. Frabill, Beckman and Stowmaster all make nets for this purpose.
  18. congrats douG, you'll lvoe that unit.
  19. Good to hear everything is ok gcd that stretch of ontario; it's not a matter of it will snow, it's how much. Snowsqualls off georgian bay are more than common. if you look at what the weatherman is saying you'd never get out.
  20. Here's another site with some good info Fight your tickets!
  21. I donno if there's enough room there. Danged muskie gear and it's size. It's a pretty good idea.
  22. I can understand that and think it's a valid & reasonable request.
  23. It's the news, I don't think it should be sugar coated and it should be presented as it happened. I don't think it should be sensationalized either though. Just the facts man..
  24. he brought his smile in the boat, didn't he.
