  2. Most little kids have to be taught to share, at least the few I've seen, seems to go against that.
  3. sorry for the voice over, couldn't find the version with Cliff saying it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMV_fJDruog
  4. As a kid we just raked them all to the center of the gravel drive, where the weeds grow between the tire ruts, lit them and out came the weenies, foil wrapped potatoes and marshmallows.
  5. They are horribly loud, people had some near my parents and a donkey/burro/ mule ?? horse like creature, it was no better.
  6. Yes , definitely Lily of the Valley, it can be invasive spreading underground by runners, I'm still trying to get rid of some because of the dogs as it is poisonous.
  7. I get them here as well, them and being next to the lake there is frequent helicopters overhead, something to do with them not allowed over open water so they skirt the lakeshore.
  8. There is a fishing store called " Fishin Niagara" right on the Parkway in Fort Erie, the owner is an excellent fisherman, he will give you some pointers I'm sure. There are several places I run my float rod there and waded when younger, lots of access, just need to do some more legwork.
  9. I swear the money changers at NBA central have sent the word down to the refs that they want an all American final, hell, they got the whole NHL playoff series stateside , gimme a break
  10. "The blues is the roots; everything else is the fruits" Willie Dixon Be a shame if he wins and gets committed to a big contract and forced to go more commercial and mainstream .
  11. Biyombo gets fouled, no call, things go south from there.
  12. In defense of drinking, when I was younger I did some really dumb stuff when I was sober.
  13. Distracted walking is my biggest peeve, eyes glued to a smartphone oblivious to stoplights and walklights and traffic.
  14. 4:13 a,m, . maybe for duck or deer hunting, for fishing I prefer the late biters, Good luck , anyways
  15. Found this, one of his That gold tele has been with him for a while, no surprises in his musical influences, all my favourite male blues artists are crazy good on guitar , he is no exception.
  16. Reading that Phil Kessel may be in line for the Con Smythe these playoffs
  17. There are times that it appears that the officials have got the word that they want an all American final, that being said the Raptors are not deserving of the win so far tonite.
  18. My wife watches all those talent singing shows, I usually pass, the music there is just not my cup of tea. This guy might change that
  19. Dad had a cottage in Haliburton for thirty years, never found the lakers down all that far using riggers, majourity we caught even in summer were at 40 to 50 feet, old Fish Hawk 520 temperature probe always had temps in the high 40's by 50 foot even by August. Best lure was a large Les Davis copper/silver gang troll with a large shiner threaded on a mono leader about 18 inches to 2 feet of the back with a baiting needle, fished Drag a few times, OK but not the best lake for numbers. It did however cough up a couple of Molson's Big Fish Winners in the 70's including a 38 to a friend of ours. This weekend I'd stay in the top ten with spoons or rapala type lures.
  20. Cliff, teachers have been in bed with the Liberal Party for years, they have to pay them back for instilling their brand of Liberalism in today's youngsters. Just ask any 5th grader what a conservative is? and they will tell you it is a racist, homophobic, redneck, gun toting, American loving bigot. well sort of
  21. I'm guessing the only reason they knew they messed up is an honest person received you info and alerted the company to their mistake and returned it. Take a deep breath, most people are honest.
  22. Reputable agency and UN in the same sentence
  23. What's up with Scola ? expected to see him more especially since the JV injury. As a mature player I would think his experience would be an asset in the payoff.
  24. The good manufacturing jobs that were created with cheap electric power have already left the province/country, working on that is like closing the door after the horse got out.
  25. I confess, back in the 50's as a kid, I kept a Painted in a galvanized laundry tub and fed it earthworms , lettuce and raw hamburger all summer letting it go back in a pond Labour Day weekend.
