Not the case... At least with this unit...... View button changes screens in one order and the exit button changes in the opposite direction...

I have that bird unit... But with the Di feature... I give it a 4/5 Only negative is the GPS... And I haven't done a software upgrade since I bought the unit...that might solve some problems... sometimes has a hard time picking up signal... I've started turning the GPS on before I leave my house... Gives it plenty of time to get connection and it always works after that.... Speed bounces around... Even when parked in the driveway... I've learned to read speed like the matrix...lol... It's usually showing the right speed... Just bounces up and down... Positives... You can get the portable kit for ice fishing... Sonar is awesome... Di is worth the $100 if you can afford it... No cable base for quick and easy installation and removal daily... Very user friendly... Easy menus... Even my dad can operate his new bird unit... Lol

Just wondering about the time stamps on posts.... Since daylight savings the stamps are ahead by an hour... We have "future" moosebunk telling jokes at 1030am but im reading em at 930am... Tried something new tonight... Walleye scampi Sauted garlic in butter and lemon juice... 5 minutes.... Then poured that over walleye in a baking dish... Seasoned with salt... Pepper... Dill... Oregano and parsley.... Then baked at 350 for 25 minutes.... Turned out amazing.... No leftovers.... Thought I'd share...

Never LOST INTEREST.... Had times where life lets me fish more or less over the years.... And I've bounced from species to species over the years... Spent my late teens/early 20s targeting musky almost exclusively... During the same time Carp were also a highly targeted species.... I rarely fish either of them now due to the fact I'm addicted to walleye like a fat kid to smarties.... My wife... Kids... And job sometimes effect the amount of time I get out... But they all enjoy fishing and fully support me getting out or coming with me...

LMAO!!!!! So that's why my buddies send my first with the spud.... I guess I'm on a diet now... Lol

These are amazing for panfish through the ice.... Especially bluegill and crappy... And funny enough... That's one of my best colors....

St lawrence is still open.... Just gotta know the right launches... We are super lucky here... There are spots that'll be frozen enough you could ice fish this weekend... Yet I'll be out in the boat.... We have no break between ice up and boat season... Spring or fall... Most years I'm able toget out past New Years...

I was thinking all year about getting Mike P to make me a rig and run 4 bulldogs...

He had Brookies too... So I'm wondering if he was at a trout quary or something... They get stocked in the fall and catching high numbers for a few weeks is normal... Your looking at 8-12 inch fish most of the time.... I've seen guys limit multiple times and keep dropping fish off at their car 2-3-4 times a day
