  1. Casting only or cast/troll multipurpose...? I personally prefer a smaller rod then most anglers nowadays... I cast a 7'6" heavy st croix premier.... For just about everything... But I don't cast too much to be honest... And I troll with a 8' heavy st croix glass rod... And these combos handle 50" musky... They're a nice balance of function and fun... And don't take up a ton of room... 8' fits in my f150 ext cab
  2. Yup 0.5" slimmer and 0.3" bigger outside diameter....33" They don't make the exact same size... I have now... I either go back to 275 65 r18 wich was stock... Or 275 70 r18 to try to match my current tires...
  3. High jack away... I've made my mind... General grabbers AT2 Stepping from 285 65 r18 to 275 70 r18....
  4. Very cool move... The profits on those generators easily covers the meals and then some... The store is only out part of their profits... And were able to help those in need... Great story for Christmas...
  5. Either way you'll need to buy a chip as far as I know... And if it ain't broke... Don't fix it...

  9. I can get these for $900 all said and done... That's not bad
  10. Hello all... So my tires are finally caput... 90,000 km on em... I can't afford BF all terrains again at about $350/tire... So I'm looking for your personal opinions/experiences with truck tires... Make and model would help... I'm leaning towards Goodyear Wranglers... I think I can get them installed for about $1000.... I prefer the look of an all terrain tire... But I'm open to all suggestions... Performance out ways looks now that I'm getting older... Lol I'm looking for all seasons.... These are going on my f150 4x4... I tow 1-3 times a week with this truck... Size 275 65 r18 So... What rubber do you like??? Thanks Mike
  11. Big is relative to the fishery....

  13. 24-25-26 shut down and 31-1 shut down as well.... But we are entering our slow season... Might have OT on the 26th
  14. All I know is that I love the show... I now drink more iced tea... And I've started spending more time with my brother and his family... Everyone has the ability to filter what they are exposed to... For this show I filter the religion out... It's not for me... I would imagine this show has positively influenced way more then it has created homophobia...
  15. I've never had a walleye die in my boat in a tourney... And some days we are smashing 4 foot waves with our fish in the well... It's all about anglers running their pumps STEADY ALL DAY and putting the weigh in in a smart place... Not in a shallow bay or creek if possible... If that's the case every boat is pumping really warm water into their wells right before they weigh (stress) the fish... Also if the anglers are fishing deep water the fish are likely to have a tough go regardless of how their treated after capture...
  16. He's with the electricians union... Not sure who's paying the bill...
  17. Very cool pics... My dad is the foreman on the crew installing a solar field here in Cornwall... Big money being spent all over Ontario on these... Already a few in our area... And...Solar panel still work with snow and ice... They're are transparent after all... Lol... That was by far the coolest looking pic...
  18. Soon enough we won't have tournaments because of stories like this... I'm sure there were plenty of people around that would have liked to keep their catch... Or bystanders that would have kept walleye caught by others... We are responsible for our catches in our tournaments... Each boat must drive their walleye out to deeper cooler water for release... We weight... Drive out to release... Then return for results and refreshments...
  19. I'm with Bill... I bought in NJ... Boat had no lien... Owner had title... Paid him cash... No issues... Dad bought in Ohio... Had a lien... Dad paid the bank and got the title from them... No issues... I was just clear with the seller that I needed him to be honest because I was driving really far to get the boat... He was 100% truthfull about everything on the rig... Told me about some minor issues not in the ad so I wouldn't have any surprises...
