  1. Awesome start to your season Mike! Those specks are just "speck-tacular!" Well done all around, tight lines!
  2. Rainbows thru the ice would be sweet!! Nice report, thanks for sharing
  3. A new pair of waders for me! Last outing 3 weeks ago I found a second hole in my neoprenes, right below my crotch lol. I fished another 2 hours soaking wet and freezing and haven't been back out since But other than that, my wife already gave me mine because I found it on sale last week. A new flux core welder Nothing special, but just what I wanted...and for 1/2 price to boot!
  4. Awesome awesome report!! You sir take some of the best pictures I've seen on ANY forum or website! Thanks for sharing
  5. Nice looking fish Chrises! lol Those are a couple big bruisers, thanks for sharing guys
  6. Same here, I'm doing that at work this very minute! lol Congrats on your retirement Mr. T! Make everyday a great one See you there in 30 years lol
  7. I bought a digital reciever box rig from Wally-World back in the spring and got nothing! I live only about a km from the CTV Barrie station with their HUGE antenna tower... Could that be the reason? And also the reason CTV2 is the only channel we get? My wife and I "cut the cord" about 18 months ago and haven't looked back. We subscribe to Netflix and run our laptop to the plasma screen. Wireless mouse and keyboard, a good anti virus and projectfreetv.com takes care of all our telly needs!
  8. I had the same great service from Rapala Canada just 5 or 6 weeks ago! Within a dozen casts bass fishing on GBay, I broke a treble on a Skitter Walk and a lip on a Scatter Rap. Both brand new, first use. Contacted them through their FB page and in 2 weeks I received two replacement lures, a hat, lipless crank keychain and about a dozen stickers!! Wonderful people to deal with, thumbs up for sure :-D
  9. 3h 22mins is a stellar time! I don't last past one hour in the Georgian Mall in Barrie! lol My wife and I decided this year that we're just going to put an allowance in our PayPal account and shop from home on a budget We're comete novices when it comes to online shopping, so wish us well :-P Any advice on cheap sites for kids stuff aged 10 and under?
  10. You guys are going to have a blast this season on the sleds! Jack will leave no flake untouched in the yard lol :-P
  11. As does my '04 F150. The stock Generals that came on it lasted 100,000km. And I wasn't easy on the truck either lol. I've got Firestone Destinations on now but they'll need to go by spring time
  12. Both doors are circa 1987 and the house was a rental until I bought it in 2007. They just need to go! lol I have a credit card given to us as a gift to cover all labour and materials... Just need an honest, reliable contractor that can help is out A PM is on the way cheaptackle, Cheers!
  13. Hello friends We are in need of someone around the Barrie area to help us out. We need all the proper measurements taken so we can choose a front door and a rear sliding door. The 3 guys who have come to do quotes either try and sell us something triple the price range I give them, or can't do it until February! Rain and snow leaks in the front door and the rear slider has a tendency to come off the track lol. I can get a deal on front doors through my dad but need proper measurements to give him. Our budget for both doors all said and done is $2000. Am I way off with this amount?? Any advice and direction is welcome, either in this thread or by PM. Thanks OFC! Cheers, Jesse
  14. What a sick-wicked bunch of chrome man! Nice fish That laker is faaaaattt! That must've been fun on a pin lol
  15. Whoops! I apologize for my ignorance. Thanks for the lesson Mike. And to the OP...NICE SPECKS! Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  16. Great report bud! Seeing the background in some of your pics brought back memories from my trip with the old man last year. Snow was the only thing we didn't get that week!! lol I'd love to see some GoPro footage too
  17. My wife just picked up a bike for our one year old for a year or two from now. Walmart is clearing out toddler bikes for $20!! This was south end Barrie Walmart about two hours ago. Just a heads up for any parents or grandparents Cheers
  18. I read his book along with 4 other coworkers about 4 years ago. Out of the 5 of us, only ONE went back to the butts and stayed there!! I went back after 4 weeks for a few days, then went back and actually FINISHED the book lol!!! Smoke free since Feb 28 2011 You can do it, one way or another! Best of luck
  19. Stunning pics, great video and a kick ass trip! Those coastal roads look WAAAAY too fun to drive on! Tons of twisty bits and awesome views Thanks for sharing, and congrats on your anniversary!
  20. I fish vic harbour to port severn almost every weekend, and have a friend on Sturgeon Bay there. He also has an 18' bass boat and a Ram 1500, and launches and loads there with no issues. If you're solo just use a long rope to your bow eye and wear shorts Your tires will be touching the water. I was there yesterday with my 7 year old daughter and our 14' tin tippy the water is down a little from 2 weeks ago at the launch. But there were plenty of boats over 16 feet who had already lunched when we got there at 7:45. Like others have said, watch the signs for parking. Unfortunately people without boat trailers seem to take up most of the trailer spots --- and they NEVER get ticketed for that! But you will if you disobey lol happy fishing!! Looking forward to pics...We like pics!!
  21. Off topic to the OP but, this U Haul incident was prob because it was an Explorer, period. I had one years back, a 1991, and UHaul wouldn't rent me a trailer because of the roll over incidents occurring with Explorers and tire blow outs. I even provided proof that I had Ford replace the Firestones to Goodyears and thatall my tow equipment was good and in order. Said they'd rent to a Civic owner before they'd rent to an Explorer owner! I borrowed a Silverado and got what I needed! lol
  22. Another kick-ass report Bunk! I've only caught a handful of gar, but they are an awesome fish Loving the pics as always, and a great write up too
  23. Yep, got one on a Super Spook at the Barrie waterfront a few years ago. An older gentleman who was perching helped me wrangle it and perform minor surgery lol. He flew a few yards then landed in the water to lick his wounds. Silly gull, Spooks are for bass! lol
