  1. Amen brother! Can't wait to do it again...
  2. I remember being allowed to use perch as bait in Lake O. Looks like that has changed!! Anyone else notice this? cheers
  3. Tow words: CENTRAL - STATION. Si t'as le gout de cruiser d'la foufoune hein!
  4. Shame you're not offering them in bulk.. You'd have had more biters!
  5. Yep. It's kinda hard to recognize them without their alien suits on though.
  6. That's just awesome!! HHAHAH!!
  7. Lemme think about it.
  8. Don't forget the spud and the ice pics.. GAME ON.
  9. Was there with Snag today. Security came down and said that we should leave. "Why would I do that??" "Because it isn't safe, and this is Ontario Place property" "Ice is 6in thick, and this is naviguable waterway, I'm not on OP property now am I." "I have no problem calling the police" "Go ahead, I've never had a problem with the police" And so on and so forth.. She finally left and we thought best not to push our luck. Blasted glorified night watchmen.. Some yop always has to ruin our fun!! I'm heading to the Islands with a friend on Wednesday. Please organize a search party if I don't check in later. cheers
  10. That's news dude. I wish you all the best. Have you thought of other trades like tool and die? A friend of mine made the switch a few years back and has never looked back. good luck.
  11. When you have good company out on the ice, the cold and crappy fishing seem to cancel out.. Good stuff guys. cheers
  12. Evenin! PMs won't work.. Hope I'm not too late. If you've still got a spot, I'm down. Been out 3 times and I'm getting tired of eating skunk. Got gear plus plenty of emeralds. Can intercept you wherever. cheers!
  13. I've got 2 japanese versions of the calais, the Scorpion RH 220 and the AR 200 and they're both as sweet as buttah. Don't get me wrong; I love the ol green machines but they don't even come close to the performance of a calais. Still, I'd go with a japanese model of the Curado before I'd ever go with a Calais made in Malaysa.. Calais, all the way.
  14. Had a couple zoo workers come down and check to see what I was doing once.. Seems someone had been in the valley snaring deer. Wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if someone took a shot at that doe.. I'd say keep your eyes and ears peeled!!
  15. [quote name='limeyangler' date='12 January 2011 - 02:39 PM' Wow....what a truly Phalic reply... My roomies found a box of kleenex and a fish calendar on my bed once... They've never let me live it down!!
  16. You might be able to get away with a regular line if you only plan on fishing a couple days. Keep in mind what your line is up against though.. coral, mangroves, volcanic rock.. There's also the applications. You might have to punch a long line to some spooky bones facing the wind, and a regular wf fly line doesn't cut it. I use a mastery series salwater in 8wf, it's got a green running line with a sandy tip. Great for punching long line and bigger flies. Plus the abbrasion resistance is top notch. For extra patterns, you can't go wrong with some lefty's deceivers and chernobyl crabs. Good luck!! HD
  17. Dems some dandies! Quebec.. My kinda province dude. murky buckets!!
  18. I'm blown away brother.. Great year and great pics!! Thanks
  19. Holly buckets!! Mike sure can take some sweet pics.. I'm gonna have to kill you though. What a great year. Hope your 2011 is even better!! BAH, who am I kidding, I hope your 2011 sucks donkeys.

  21. She ain't loading for me.. The coop is full!
  22. Ice was plenty safe where we were. I'd say about 10in. Entrance to the bay has some open water though. Not much doing for us unfortunately. Had one take in 4 hours of hucking it!!
