There are guys with way more experience than me, but in case they don't see this before tomorrow, I'd suggest tying some different sizes and different colours too, you never know what they will go for depending on water conditions. That thread charlied mentioned makes tying a lot easier. Mike

It's a great board, I was impressed with how smoothly the switch went, considering how many members made the move and having to learn a new format. Mike

No fishing stuff for me, but I dropped by LeB to pick up some stuff at their no-tax sale, so it's almost as good. I'm going to be picking up a trolling motor this winter/spring as a combined present, will be great to have it for the family cottage boat and for rental boats next season. Mike

It's not either/or, I prefer to buy my more expensive items from the big shops b/c the prices are usually better by quite a bit, but I like stopping in at local stores to buy a little extra tackle or bait. Mike

My in-laws make a Christmas Day breakfast casserole that is fantastic -- eggs, sausage, onions, bread, lots of sage. Always get lots of snacks, tamari flavored almonds, cheeses, too. Mmm, speaking of which... Mike

People have bought me fishing lures etc. but they don't always know what I want or need. If I want something bigger like a new rod & reel then I just go get it myself. Mike

Yup, I PMed Wayne as soon as my buddy and I started talking about the Temagami region. I'd prefer one of the smaller lodges, preferably with some access to back country lakes.
