  3. Wayne, you just painted all teachers with the same brush, not cool If you think you can become a teacher as a back up plan today, fish all summer, and just punch the clock in the meantime, whatever you're smoking, please share
  4. welcome to Team Shimano
  5. that sounds right, is this true ch312?
  6. I have a fisher who hangs out 500m behind my cottage. I saw him in daylight and got him on my trail cam (some dirt bag stole my camera and memory card though) I'm guessing wolverines in ON are pretty rare. I saw one on the Attawapiskat, Eddie's camp. No pictures, just another witness. I set up Eddie's trail cam that evening, same spot, fish guts, but no luck. I think their ranges are huge. super cool footage again Justin
  7. now I need an inline ice reel, next they will say I need a specific inline reel for every type and weight of bait I use and each species I target they are selling stuff, that's what they care about, selling stuff
  8. The Haliburton lakes are more cottage country than fish camp country, pretty busy in the summer, and typically laker/ bass lakes decent, 1 acre vacant lots on Kawagama and Boshkung can be $400k
  9. I guess Chevy does run deep, and I'm sure you and your new friend will find plenty of new roads good to hear you're still kicking butt Bunk
  10. Pointe au Baril or the French River if you haven't done any preliminary research, the prices might be a little shocking
  11. It's likely the same situation as that spirit moose that was shot down east a while back, pink eyes= albino, normal eyes= recessive gene
  12. I bought a big bottle of Jagermeister
  13. Awesome multi species recap, a few years and Henry will be out there too
  14. It's cool to see some big wolves, not cool to see them killed for no reason chirp us Canadians, fine, just keep that crap south of the border
  15. very cool seems like everything loves a belly rub
  16. Hahaha
  17. I definitely wouldn't feel good about it but I think I would have to bonk it 20 plus years ago, there was a tackle store in Guelph (not Ray's Hook, Line, Sinker) on Edinborough near the Beer Store. The brothers who owned it like to fish for muskie. I remember the guy telling me in detail, how he could retire off the world record muskie. Deals with tackle companies whose equipment he allegedly used to catch the fish, trade shows, even selling individual scales off the fish to collectors (I think illegal now). It's sad but true, without the actual specimen, it's just a fish story that's one of the reasons I buy a sportsman licence
  18. thanks guys when MPAC was mentioned by Chad, my blood pressure suddenly jumped up a bit, well, quite a bit, but that's another thread topic
  19. I'm guessing some of you guys out in the sticks have built or at least priced garages. I'm thinking just a basic shelter to keep the weather and critters out. Maybe 20x40. I don't have a clue what something like this costs. Last weekend the tarp set-up I had over my pontoon boat collapsed. I also opened the cowl on my snowmobile, and a mouse was sitting beside the moth balls, looking up at me. He had used the bounce dryer sheets I had put in there to build his nest in the belly pan. Hahaha
  20. looks like a great place to live, I'd say you had an awesome summer!
