  1. Not sure of the model(s), but a lot of people have had hull issues with trackers. As they say, trackers are crackers.
  2. btw - Sail also carries them
  3. They should be able to send you a shipping label, or you ship it back and they credit you for the cost. LL Bean does it this way.
  4. The fish don't recognize it as a mouse. I'd bet that 99.999999% of the fish that encounter your mouse lure (or live mouse) would have never encountered a mouse in their lives. Leave the little mice alone and use something else that mimics a vulnerable creature stuck on the surface and you'll do just fine.
  5. If you want folding, stowmaster or frabill. I have the frabill 36 x 38 and it's a great net. The bag is too long (almost ridiculously so), but this is better than too short. If hook tangles in the net are your biggest concern, get one of the non-folding frabills (like the big game) that come with a larger hole-sized, rubberized mesh. Far fewer hook tangles. Other options are beckman and loki, but neither folds as far as I know and both have smaller, softer, tangly mesh.
  6. It does not say that fish naturalizing in a pond through other means apply. Here`s one for you - you and your neighbor each have ponds. You stock yours with trout, and he stocks his with bass. Bass will likely end up in your pond via birds. Are you then not allowed to fish in your own pond because a duck with eggs on it`s feet swam in it? As long as you're not catching fish and transporting them yourself (which would be a worse fine than fishing out of season).
  7. Wouldn't matter if aliens from the future beamed them there; he wouldn't be fishing outside the fish and game act. Fish eggs come in to private ponds on birds all the time. Could be how your pike got there.
  8. Stocked fish. Unless they came in as eggs on birds feet or something.
  9. I would say no if it is not connected to any waterway, whether navigable or not.
  10. I'll say it again. The guys who build the software for that are in Mississauga. As in, Ontario. Canada. The data center may be in the US, but the majority of workers providing that service are here.
  11. Cool the jets. This isn't like buying your swiss chard from china. I don't know where the data is stored, but most of the people building that software are based in Mississauga.
  12. ontario fishing regs
  13. Some wounds are difficult to wipe. You may want a pour-on disinfectant.
  14. Not something I want in my lakes and rivers. Though i don't like soft plastics either (for the same reason)
  15. Just throw double 8s and you won't need to worry about it.
  16. They're more interested in eating grubs, berries, and garbage than one of us. Wouldn't worry about them. If you want to keep them away from the house get a bear banger and shoot at it (but not behind it) when it's around. They'll get scared away. btw - it could have been nosing around for some of that deer feed.
  17. The "land of the free" has the least data privacy of any country in the free world (most european countries/businesses will not host ANY data there), but i still wouldn't be too worried about whether or not your fishing and hunting licenses are documented there. Who cares? For all we know this site his hosted there and all of this data is accessible. Same thing.
  18. I have an 8 foot St Croix Premier Heavy (2-6oz baits, i think) with a revo toro 61 (5.4 gear ratio) and it's been a really good all purpose rod so far. Also have an Okuma EVX and an Abu C3 6501 and it's been great as well. Also cheaper.
  19. The guy checking his text while at a stop light is 100000x less dangerous than the person texting while driving on the hwy. Focus on the latter, and leave the guy at the stoplight alone.
  20. Drier spring, so i bet there are fewer bugs.
  21. People actually "poach" turtles?? What for? Snappers or painteds?
  22. Does a Rav4 have the weight to tow a boat like that?
  23. Highlander - tow rating of 4900lbs, i believe. Great vehicle in general.
  24. I think they absolutely have the right to do it. Pretty sure they would have been picking up walleye on the spawn when europeans came here. But, I also think it's very short-sighted of them if they want to preserve a fishery.
